Where did you ride today?

I was so impressed by Mike's photos of the California Valley bloom, I went in search of some possible similar scenes in my neck of the woods in the Florida panhandle Blackwater Forest, Hurricane Lake, and into south Alabama. I rode 176 miles on a beautiful day, and saw a few nice fields of yellow and purple flowers, but no good places to safely get off the road for some pics. I did manage a few nice shots though!

I rode about 25 miles each way to take some pics for the So. VA Tag game.

Now I need to bring my phone to my computer to transfer and select one.

The destination, by the way, was King's Dominion theme park in Doswell.

Logged about 175 miles today. Down to Jackson, over to Monticello, back up to Conyers for lunch. Then the long way home (STs are bad about going the long way home!) over to Covington, Shadydale, back down to Monticello, over to Jackson & back to the house.

I'll let you know shortly.
You posted July 20, 2018. I only discovered the game a couple of weeks ago, but today was my first free day with good weather.

It just so happens that today was the first day of the season, and the place was crowded, so I couldn't quite duplicate your shot

They wanted $20 for parking, but I sweet-talked my way in by telling the girls in the entrance booth the truth of why I was there.

[emoji849] I didnt even think about the pay parking when I chose that spot. I've been going there forever. I remember when it was $6 for parking...lol

Rode about 300 miles today up through the Carrizo Plain. There was about 21 miles of dirt road. The wild flowers were amazing. Highway 58 was the best part of the trip. The last time that I was in this area it was all brown Nice to see it green with flowers everywhere.

Had a great partly hot, dry, windy or wet ride yesterday, about 300km all up, though Kaiaua, Rangariri and SH22 back to Tuakau. I'm really enjoying the 1300, the handling is great but I do seem to be running out of ground clearance more on this than the 1100, could just be that I'm pushing harder in the corners. 237508

So I got up early and took the long way into work. PCH (Mugu to Malibu) is now exploding with flowers.
Now is the time for you to go out of your way and take the longer route, I did and the sights were worth it.
So get out and ride, go slow and enjoy before it all turns brown. You blinked and you missed it.....
Go ride.......

Took the Honda ST out today, temperature was 82 for the high. Just riding around Santa Barbara County. Here is the only picture I took.

Not sure if these bridge planks are original, but I thought the wood grain was unique.

Didn’t ride today. Had to do two front brake jobs on the cagers along with two oil changes & rotate tires. Makes me realize just how much I enjoy riding my ST. Riding is like being on vacation!

Took the Honda ST out again today for some great back road riding, I rode around Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo County. Just over 245 miles and the weather was not bad. Here are a few pictures.
