Where did you ride today?

Little ride exploring east of home this afternoon before thunderstorms, 79° for the high...
Bridge crossing Clear Boggy Creek, east of Caney. There is a "Muddy" Boggy Creek also, north of this one.
You may notice, many of the trees are budding out here...

This caught my attention, I named it "Gator Log". We do have some gators in OK too.

What with the beautiful weather today (82F) I took a ride up to Payson.
Enjoyed some Dairy Queen (my age is showing) then on over to Camp Verde and on down to Phx.
Great day to be out and about.
Sorry, I'm stuck in the 20th Century and don't have a smart phone to snap pics. :old1:

Two friends/fellow Richmond Riders members and I rode backroads from Richmond through Mechanicsville and West Point to Yorktown, took the Colonial Pkwy to Williamsburg, stuffed ourselves at Captain George's seafood buffet, passed through Jamestown, and rode back home on scenic/historic Rt. 5.

I never think of taking pictures anyway, but there was nothing special to see today, but there was lots and lots of curvy country rural roads.

Washed the bad boy, dried off & took a short little scoot to thoroughly dry it off. 68*F!

I’ve managed to get nearly all the Spring yard work out of the way, so I took a little ride through the country this afternoon. Rode down through Shelbyville, Fayetteville, and Ardmore. 173 mile total. It felt good to finally get out.

Ride Safe

Well a friend called me and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. We took a ride out to California Valley off Hwy 58 to see the Super Bloom. Just over 300 miles for me. Here are a few pictures.

I had a nicer than usual ride into work this morning. Then I realized that it was overcast and the morning sun was not burning out my eyes.... The hills use to be charcoal black but are now emerald green. I keep looking for the flowers here but it might take a little longer since everything got torched.. Just started to notice a little mustard and loco weed flowers, maybe a few more weeks before we get the superbloom in the fire zone...

Thanks for the pictures Mike! My brother and I may head up 33 to soda lake road and run up to see what you saw in the Carrizo plain on Saturday morning. We may continue up to 58 and loop down the coast.....

68F,...grumble,. .. mumble,... -15C tonight,..... damn winter.
Let it go Ray, Let it go. Oh you just did.
Why Rhubarb? If it's private  you can keep it to yourself. Good name by the way, Ray . No doubt you may have heard of the Canadian Red variety if your name refers to your liking of the lovely stuff, just planted some.
Upt'North.

Nowhere. It was 30 when I left home in the car. 50 minutes later it was 25, with icy patches where traffic had splashed water out of potholes on the tiny backroad that is my preferred route when I70 has delays. I had several wheel spins, and was thankful to have four wheels rather than just two beneath me.

Tomorrow or Friday may be a different story...

Normally I'd just click on Like and move on, but wow, those pictures are quite spectacular. I see why you call it the Super Bloom. Thanks for sharing.
