Where did you ride today?

45 miles for Capuccino, then home and jumped on the VTX for another 50 miles.

Left the prison in Monroe on Saturday morning and decided to ride across to the Ben Howard Road. In the summer, it is frequented by a lot of motorcyclists...and LEOs. I don't think I saw either one on this trip.

I started my Florida all county courthouse ride yesterday. Stopped tonight in Juno Beach. Staying with friends in a condo overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can barely see a passing ship behind the left 2 AC units.

Did a 400 mile loop in south Florida today. Visited beautiful downtowns West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, LaBelle and Moore Haven.

Did a 180 mile ride on the Goldwing yesterday. From home to Sebastian on US1, then 512 to 60 over to Yeehaw Junction, 441 to 192, 193 to 532 near St. Cloud, 532 to 520 to 524 and back home..... Nice day for a ride, temps about 73*.

Yahoo Junction...sounds like a hoot.

Rode to work again today, as I have all this week and last week. Same route as always in the morning mixing it up with BDC and others suffering from ID10t symptoms on the beltway. But the ride home is much better and twice as long on mostly no-traffic back roads. Temps this morning were much closer to normal for this time of year at around 18F and expect around 33F going home, maybe. Was 22F yesterday morning and 21F going home. Expecting white stuff to fall out of the sky tomorrow well after I get home from work so will likely ride again. Been figuring out the limits of my new TM Venture Air 2.0 riding pants. Yep, they are primarily a mesh pant but not bad down to yesterdays temps with just the waterproof wind and the thermal liner installed. This morning added my Frogg Togg Road Toad pants to improve the comfort in below 20F temps and was plenty warm enough so no need to buy extra gear just for a little bit of cool temps. :)

No riding of any bike this weekend, CTX nor Burgman, and also the first part of next week. All due to Winter Storm Gia that ran through starting (here) Friday night. Weather prognosticators say we had around 5 inches. Not as much as some areas south, like KC or St Louis, but plenty to keep me riding the bus to work until the roads and driveways clear. Temps are just low enough to keep it hanging around so we'll see when that is.

Did a 203 mile ride on the GW yesterday. Over to Orlando and then a ride to Mt. Dora for lunch and back via highway 44 to New Smyrna Beach and US1 back home...... Temps in upper 70's. Made a stop at the St. John's River marina near Deland for a few pics and a rest. The ST pic was taken the week before.

Well, knowing that the Pats would decimate the Chargers, I saddled up and rode down to Florence and visited St. Anthony monastery.
I needed some quiet spiritual time and was rewarded for my efforts.
The ride down and back felt wonderful and all the sights were refreshing.

Please tell us more about lowered pegs. GW1800? Do they work on an 1100? How much distance down and/or forward?
I put a set of Knight Design lowered pegs on my 2016 BMW R1200RS. I had a knee replacement 3 years ago. My range of motion is not what it used to be.
I lowered the pegs on my ST1300 for one ride. I took them off and gave them away to the first person that wanted them. I was scraping pegs way too soon.
