Where did you ride today?

The weather was great again today so I set out on the Yamaha ST for a nice ride, I did find that I could not get over Hwy 33 as it has been washed out in the Rose Valley area. I made the best of it and enjoyed the 71 degrees anyway.

How’s that Cortech tank bag working out? Thinking about getting one.
The bag has been great! It isn't very big, but I wanted the narrow bag and low profile so the horn or windshield wouldn't be effected so easily as with some larger bags. I had learned about this bag from some other's posts on the forum. I have honked the horn a few times by accident, but the windshield control has not been an issue.

That is certainly on of the good things about that bag.
No horn or windshield issues.

No pictures Mike? That Yamaha ST must be a good ride.

No pictures of yesterday ride were worthy of taking, although I should have taken one when I was stopped talking to the CHP officer at the road closure. The Yamaha is a great bike.

Okay Jim, the weather was great again today so I took the Honda ST out to enjoy the sun and 75 degrees for the high today, did a little over 200 miles. Here are a few pictures of the ride.

Now you're talking. Nice pics. Your ST must be running like a top now after the recent R&R you've completed. :thumb:

Nice pics Mike, thanks. I really like the first pic and the third pic of the reservoir/lake in the distance.

Took a ride out to Globe today. Enjoyed some cardboard pizza. :wine2:
Returned to nice 70 degree weather.
Thinking about getting a means to photograph but don't know how to turn on a Smart phone. :old1:

I took one of our members, Akira, also known as Roberto, who moved to Fort Walton Beach from Georgia a few months ago, on a ride up and through the Blackwater Wildlife Management Area forest northwest of Crestview, FL this afternoon. We met through the ST-Owners Facebook group! We had a great 130 mile ride on a gorgeous afternoon with highs in the mid 60's and dipping down to the low 50's by the time we got home at sunset. He is very interested in attending the Georgia Spring Rally with me the end of April.

70 miles, from the storage unit to one of my favorite coffee shop / bistros and back. A large cup of good coffee and a bowl of steaming hot roasted red pepper and smoked gouda soup helped warm me up on arrival, since I had slightly underdressed. On the way back to the storage facility I added an extra layer and switched gloves, and was comfy cozy all the way home.

First ride since early December. I was amazed to find that the tires were less than two PSI low, and that the bike started readily (no battery tender at the storage unit, and I hadn't bothered to disconnect the battery). Although the bike has never previously dribbled coolant during winter storage I was not surprised to find a small puddle this time, because this storage facility is unheated metal outdoor sheds where the previous facility was an indoor place with at least modest climate controls. Looks like I have clamp tightening to do, come spring.

Yesterday I rode from Fort Walton Beach to Tallahassee, then today on to central Florida. I took a bit of a long route on both days using some route info from Ashley for some nice roads east of Tallahassee and a stop at Bradley’s Country Store. I was able to stay ahead of the cold front pushing through, although did have some light rain this morning. A total of about 550 miles over both days. A friend, on his BMW K1600 GTL, rode a portion of the way to Tallahassee with me yesterday. I have my trombone and my camping gear loaded on the bike for a 2 day rehearsal in Lakeland this Thursday and Friday while I camp 2 nights nearby at Colt Creek State Park.
