Yes! I finally converted my ‘01 signal and brake lights from incandescent to all LED. I did have HID headlights for awhile, but one of the igniters died so I replaced them with LED.
UPDATE: Just wanted to say that after 4 days, two of which included rain and high winds, I am super pleased with my new windshield . It is considerably more steady in high wind and semi-trucks. Also the CeraKote gave me "look through" clarity in the rain. It was better than I hoped for. (rare in today's world)Today I trusted a tech guy from CERAKOTE and coated my brand new VStream windshield. I had called them the day before and asked to speak with "not a sales person".I asked him about their various products and he assured me that the "auto windshield product was the one for polycarb (Lexan) windscreens.
It was pretty easy and their instructions are good.
I decided to try it ($19) knowing that there a lot of bugs and rain between California and Cape Cod. Plus, when we had all our rain out here I rode in a car that had it done. Pretty impressive so I'm hopeful.
How are you getting on?I started some maintenance items that were either due or unknown. (so due)
Started with the rear gear oil (an unknown) It was grey/green, then moved to the engine oil and filter (due.) It was as expected.
Removed the Tupperware to start on replacing coolant (unknown), wiring in new driving lights, wiring in dual horns, check/replace air filter (unknown), brake fluid replacement (unknown but due), replacing both exhaust clamps (one broke last Fall).... Also have some extra trim farkle items (tank pads rear & sides and side cover fill-ins.) Likely going to tidy up the trailer isolation wiring from multiple relays to an all in one unit.
