What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Ordered a firewall grommet on EBay for the left side fairing pocket so I can run a USB cable up to my tank bag from there. I'll come out the back of the pocket, under the tank and bring the cable up between the seat and the tank. Cloth covered cable, of course. If need be I have a few black or transparent (Can you say transparent in Florida or Tennessee?) suction cups usually used in aquariums, to keep the cable from rubbing the tank under buffeting conditions... Did I mention how much I love the new to me magnetic tank bag? Because I do...
My ride yesterday was so much more relaxing since I didn't have to keep pushing my bag back to the center of the tank after every turn...

First reasonable out and about ride of 2023. Did a leisurely 103 mile ride. Realized that the original tires are still on the bike from 2011 (I bought this late last year) and paranoia has kicked in even though the tires dont show wear whatsoever. So planning to replace both in next few weeks. My VTX 1300R will be filling in during the break.

Yeah, mine needed a rear tire after it was delivered to me from Wisconsin. I ran it through the end of the season, and now I'm shopping...

After seeing a few posts on cleaning the brake bobbins, I decided to try it. Lots of black crap came out of them. Still can’t move them with my hand alone so maybe not done well enough but better than they were.

I rode out to the original O.C to do a bit of shopping, then stopped in at the pet store I prefer to use for my fish and aquarium plants. When I got back, I once again fervently wished these bikes had a reverse gear as I muscled it backwards into my carport. If I drop this bike, odds are this will be the maneuver that causes it...
Now the wife wants a cheeseburger from Jack In The Box, so, the bike and I are off once again... It's exactly 1 mile up hwy 99E from where I live; however any ride is a good ride, and the manager of the Jack, is envious of the bike...

Rode after work, 3rd day out of 4. NH weather sure is nice this week.
This is my first bike in decades, got it in October and parked most of the winter. This week I discovered that switching to summer weight gloves I get much better control of my bike. I'm now able to low speed control the heck out of it. Circles, u turns, figure 8's. I think I'll pass my cycle road test.
