Would it be out of line to post a picture of Bob here?

Re: Prayers needed for my buddy, Mr. Donaldson

It sounds like Bob's family might be reading this thread, maybe we can post some pics and memories of Bob here in this thread so that we can share with them this amazing part of his life that he loved so much.

This just breaks my heart!

Since it is clear that the inevitable is near, I pray for a speedy and painless departure so that neither Bob nor his loved ones needlessly suffer.

Re: Prayers needed for my buddy, Mr. Donaldson

Just received two texts... Bob passed away this morning. Hurting...

Very sad indeed. Glad I was able to spend a little time with him at ArkanSTOC. I must echo what many have said. He was a great guy and I count myself lucky to have know him. One of my hero's in long distance riding.
Rest in peace Bob.

Rest in peace Bob. A true classic gentleman.

A quiet man full of class, I was lucky that he allowed me into his life for even a brief amount of time, will be thinking of his family during this tough period. I am glad that he's out of pain.

Rest in Peace Bob! This is just unbelievable! One of the nicest humans I have ever met in my life!!

Words can't express how I'm feeling right now. I'm just glad that I had the opportunity to know Bob. I first met Bob at a RTE and immediately felt like we were old friends and I guess that's how everyone felt when they met Bob. I never heard anyone mention his name unless there was praise or friendship involved. He will surely be missed by many.

Go in peace.

Bob is free now. I'm sure his absence from here leaves a hole in many hearts. I am glad to have met and talked with him. I just don't think they make 'em like Bob anymore.

I am really glad Bob didn't suffer a long time sad to see him go a kind and gentle man in the truest sense of the words. I was glad I got to know him just a little bit.

It's hard to accept that his smiling face won't be at the next STOC event. He was the best of the best.
Ride on my friend. I'm going to miss you.

Rest in peace Bob. You will be sorely missed and thought of often, especially when your friends are around a fire.
I will always remember your gentle nature and laugh. I am glad you are at peace.
