Greg - Could not agree more. Along with the other countless events he was at smiling and have a good time. One could not help but be lifted up by his positive outlook on life.

This is how Della and I want to remember Bob - from our Montana trip after NatSTOC 2012. He showed us some of the best roads in this country on that trip.

On the way through the Blackfoot Indian Reservation, I was able to capture these clouds over Glacier as a background with Bob in the lead.

Mac don't beat yourself up. I just got a text from Bob's sister and she explained he is sedated, she told him we have been asking about him but is not really sure if he recognizes her. There is not much we can do but pray for a painless peaceful end and keep all our greatest BDonald memories alive and well in our heart and spirit.
I'm glad and privileged to I have known and rode with him and I'm sure the rest of the ST world that knew him feels the same way.

Mac, I agree with Fali. Please don't beat yourself up with your decision my friend. Your heart was in the right place but it is the wishes of the family. You will forever remember Bob from the last time you saw him.
All of us ST'ers wish that Bob has found peace and that his cross over will be painless. We will see him again someday.
Wishing you safe travels back home.

Man, I was praying Bob would turn around. Just like the other times. I think we all were. This is very hard and sad to read.

Bob told me it was his last NatSTOC

He wasn't feeling at all well then
