Mr. Donaldson - R.I.P. 10/15/2014

Bob. You will be missed by many of us riders. I'm glad I have some time to talked with Bob while in Spearfish, SD. Nice gentleman you are! May you Rest In Peace my friend!

Words cannot express how I'm feeling right now.

Many people do not realize that the reason he ALWAYS came to FLSToc was that he would take a day on this trip to go visit his wife. Every year.
I will take some time this year to honor him. You were my friend. My all time favorite ST member. You will always be loved and will be sorely missed. You are someone, that through our many conversations, and our many rides together, will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend. I'm glad you're at peace and have rejoined your beautiful wife that you love so much. The world is a lesser place without you.

The comments that have been expressed here are a testimony to the man he was. I met Bob a few years ago at FerrySToc & from that first meeting, he never failed to remember my name when our paths would cross.....others have made the same comment, as well. Bob left his imprint on my heart, & the hearts of many people here. Though he has departed from this life, his memory will live on....RIP, Bob.

No greater testimony to a life well lived than to read the comments from those that knew him well and also those with just one brief encounter.

I came here to see what I sure didn't wanna see....... BobD was like a grandpa to me (since I haven't had one since I was a child, I never told him that tho...)

My last memory of him is at ArkanSToc, smiling, shaking my hand with both hands, holding, ... what a great man, best of the best, top class all the way.

I will never forget you, you are an inspiration to motorcycle riders anywhere and everywhere, I hope you will be in my helmet and ride with me.

this is a picture of Bob from when I took off work and met him at the motel for coffee as he was passing thru Little Rock on his many thousands of miles on a motorcycle!!
Bob I love you and thank you for being a friend

RIP Bob. I pray that your family finds comfort in this difficult time. What a wonderful man! I am so glad I had a chance to get to know and ride with him. He is one I will never forget.
