Itchy Boots

I thought Arizona, and staying east of the Rockies as she made her way up to Canada. I must admit I didn’t know to what extent the cartels would restrict the possible routes she could take. I suspect she might be in the States already. She has to hustle to have good weather heading up to Alaska.

Why is everyone saying "Canada" ... did Alaska get adopted by Canada??

In a recent episode, she showed she's taking a boat trip to Baja ... and assumption is up thru Calif

Russia didn’t want to sell it to Canada, because of our affiliation with Great Britain, so the States got it. There were border disputes but eventually that got worked out. Now I’m sure if Alaska was up for adoption Canada would consider adopting it.
She’s making the choice to take a boat trip as it’s the safest choice in her mind from consulting locals and other sources.
Taking a boat from Seattle to Alaska deprives her of fabulous riding opportunities in British Columbia, given her passion for riding in the dirt, there are many interesting logging roads available on her journey north in BC to Alaska.

I assume that's for safety reasons ...
Yes, from what we saw in the past she was at least two weeks ahead of her postings. If in fact her postings are as much as 8 weeks behind that really makes sense. She has a window of opportunity for getting to Alaska and navigating the roads in good weather. The prime time is now.

Now I am confused Robert. Taking the ferry from Seattle to Alaska is the safest choice.
What is not safe about riding from Seattle through Canada, or do you mean safest as far as getting there in the time that she has available to her?

'Safest choice' refers to going thru Mexico.....too much cartel activity the closer she gets to US border. So she's going by ferry to Baja then north. Nothing was said or implied by her that she would take a boat after that.
As said....it would be absolutely insane to NOT ride thru BC and Yukon to get to AK!!! Half the beauty of the ride to AK is going thru those 2 provinces!!!

As we've observed before, and as she herself has mentioned in blogs and live videos, it would be most disruptive if she had to acknowledge throngs of fans at her destinations / rest stops, even if it were a handful or a small few. While perhaps ego-satisfying / affirming to some degree, she is essentially more humble than that, and much too polite to tell her well-wishers and supporters, "Please leave. I don't have the time right now!" We know she's doing all this as much or MORE for herself and personal challenges, than to make money and garner public accolades.
Not to mention the occasional oddball / bonafide lunatic that could appear and make a scene. Americans seem to have an unlimited number of kooks and attention-seekers.
This is undoubtedly the safest, most prudent approach, keeping her efficient time management AS WELL AS protecting her brand.
Noraly continues to demonstrate her wisdom and thoughtfulness, as well as her riding and journaling skills.

No, I have never seen any of her videos.

The above statement didn't seem to go with his previous statement above it, so I thought that it went with the one below it and was all one thought, so it left me with the impression that she was depriving herself of fabulous riding by taking a boat from Seattle to Alaska.

She is already in and out of Alaska.

Our Ms Schoenmacher has taken boats and ferrys during her travels. She could “ride” the ferry from Seattle, visit the Arctic Circle/Ocean (Dempster or Dalton highways) and then ride the wonderful roads in Canada. BTDT JuST say’n…

I need to be more careful when I post, and should actually quote or reference the post I was referring to. Sorry Andrew, and yes it was only the Baja portion I was replying about.
