Itchy Boots

The laST few episodes have been great! She’s really off the beaten/touristy track up in the Guatemalan mountains. The drone footage is spectacular, really giving a sense of the vastness.. remoteness… of time and place. I don’t know how she flew the drone while swimming in the wonderful waterfalls pool with the GoPro on the selfie stick.

I often read the comments to her episodes (the Google translate feature works very well, BTW)… many lovely, thoughtful posters. One comment in particular caught my eye today, directed to our dear Noraly: “Continue to make me dream.”

I mentioned this YouTube channel in another post, but I thought it deserves it’s own thread. This channel was recommended to me a couple of months ago. The author Noraly is a young Dutch rider who chose a Royal Enfield Hymalian as her STead.

I've been following this channel for a long while. Love it - Highly recommended!

All the Mexican cops are hitting on her, it's really pathetic.

I also noticed their interest in her. I don't think it quite rose to the level of "hitting on her" nor did she seem to be put out by it.

Of course, questions like "are you married" are inappropriate, but I wouldn't call it pathetic.

Liked a comment she made on her latest video.
Said she doesn't like to know a lot about where she's going because it creates expectations.....which often leads to disappointment.

Yes, but she ends up knowing quite a bit about where she's going. As she gives us history lessons, geology lessons etc.

It's a shame ... I thought she might enter the US via the Great State of Texas, but appears she's going to cross over to Baja, then up into Calif.

I thought Arizona, and staying east of the Rockies as she made her way up to Canada. I must admit I didn’t know to what extent the cartels would restrict the possible routes she could take. I suspect she might be in the States already. She has to hustle to have good weather heading up to Alaska.
