Itchy Boots

Well, now I finally looked at this thread and found that we're not talking
about how boots make your feet itch, the way everybody knows putting on a
helmet makes your scalp itch, and closing the visor on your full face helmet
makes your nose it (doubly bad itching if you have gloves on!)

She seems like a nice lady that has great adventures. I'll have to block off some time to
do more than just skim a few quick peeks at her videos.

Following her rather infrequently (stumbled over her during COVID boredom while searching for Norway and Island trips...) I have a different take on the whole issue...

As an Earhart or Beard already clearly showed: they can do something, if they just want to... ;)

She addresses it well. Yet don't forget that she must to play on camera as well.

For many of us, just an ordinary riders, filming would be the least on our mind in case of adversity.
I think a lot of the filming is taken care of by her cameras - i.e. they are mounted and set up to run constantly. She edits out (or edits in) what she wants for each episode.

I remember her accident in Africa when she was sitting on a muddy road, injured, and talking to the camera. Clearly, the video is front and center in her mind.

No doubt. She's running a paid show.
As for the constant running cameras... that would be hours and hours of editing to come up with the 23-30 minutes clip.
Dunno.

This is exactly right. That's also part of the reason why she doesn't camp... need to recharge batteries, and have internet service
As I mentioned before, she also rarely goes out anywhere at night... partly for personal safety, but equally to edit those hours of video.
It can be a grind, but that's her choice.
Again... I have no inside source, except the handful of interviews I've listened to.
But with my experience with video editing, it can be a real time suck, and very tedious.
But this is how she chooses to live, and she's doing it quite well, in my view.
Most will never know how much work she puts into her videos.

I’ve seen quite a few other videos on other channels/sites where she clearly talks about doing her own filming and editing, music sourcing, etc. She flys her drone manually, while underway!

And on her website she has a tutorial for others on how to do it themselves ( itchy boots Academy, “Motorcycle Vlogging”):

A bit similar to German.
Keep in mind that her vids on the YT are weeks behind, i.e. what you see today (even if she posted today) is where she was like a month ago.
Like it or not, you can't take away her talents and ambitions.
Yet in the 30 minutes videos we see only a small part of what's happening on her trip. Just a part which she decides to cut.

P.S.
And this "Good morning Internet"... I don't know if she aware, but it doesn't sound good. These are your "religious" fens who think you're their Goddess on 2 wheels. You call them just by a faceless general "internet"? Heck, just even plain "good morning" would sound better than that.
Don't beat me up. Just MO

She may be coming to a city near you! This was off my Facebook feed.

I will be pausing my adventure to Japan briefly in June - for the release of my book “Free Ride”, coming out June 3rd.

That means, taking a break from my journey in the Middle East and… coming to the USA and UK for a booktour! Want to meet and get a signed copy of my book???

To figure out which places in the USA most of you are located, please help me out with a vote! These are the cities on the shortlist for the booktour, so if you are interested in coming to an event, please write your preferred city in the comments!

I know that YT can show locations where the most viewers are from, so this may be an indicator. Although looking at the some not so populated places, not sure how she came up with these.
