Itchy Boots

That is one heavily loaded bike! Granted the camping gear does take up space and so does camera gear, computer and drones and chargers.......
ON her Facebook page, she has declared that she is done with camping on this trip. Too long to set up and break down, extra top-heavy bike weight, hard to get stuff to dry and not a very restful sleep. Having power, a desk and a net connection are pretty important to keep feeding content to all of us fools...

Until now, I've been able to view her Facebook page without logging in. Not this time. And I certainly will not be joining Facebook.

Same here. I understand why she would post there as a LOT of people like FB. I am not one. Maybe she doesn't want cookie cutter her content on all her platforms but I wish she'd keep the high points on all platforms.

As for motorbike camping I agree there too. Kudos to those who enjoy it. I look forward to her finding all those cool little comfort pods for a night's repose.

No issues here ... i just accessed the "photos", "videos", and "posts" sections without a login (on my smartphone ... and have accessed it using a computer in the past).

Well, this morning no login required once again. Go figure.

I suppose she is shipping her camping stuff home?

Still waiting for her shop to re-open.

Yup, I agree. I did more than my share of cycle-camping on my 10-speed trips around North America and Europe and moto-camping all over North America - and the charm is out of it for me I'm afraid.

Like Noraly, I would not get enough restful sleep and would most definitely get tired of being wet.

I haven’t camped since I was 14 or 15 (and then it was only a couple of nights) but I really enjoyed the four nights I went this summer. When I went up to onSToc just rode up slept one night and rode back and I thought it was fun and hope to do it again. Maybe on a three week trip it might get annoying after a week.

I do enjoy camping. I must admit that once I found the Hammock tent that has made it much easier for me. The sites she is at seem to be open fields with not much protection. Given that she also requires internet and a comfortable work station to edit her videos the camping scene isn't really conducive to that.

Series 3, Episode 17. Noraly crosses into Sweden from Denmark.

We are still enjoying her channel, but not as much as when she was in the wilder places.

I've noticed in a number of cities she has visited, there are things regularly suspended from a wire directly above the center of streets. Internet access perhaps?

I guess Noraly wasn't aware of Sweden's and King Harold's connection to Bluetooth technology. Well I enjoyed the episiode anyway.

She probably feels the same. Except for the one decent weather day in Iceland riding around in the Westfjords we haven't seen much joy from her so far. More a let's get on with it and make the best of it approach.

I got started watching her ventures just recently. I'm surprised at how well she's doing. It takes hours to put together a professional looking video as she has done. Plus the computing power...electricity...and internet access. And all this after a long day of riding.

Did you notice how her GPS is giving her directions in English? I just found that interesting that the directions aren't in Dutch.

On Noraly's Itchy Boots blog she recommended Ed Marsh's C90 Adventures. Totally crazy but fun to watch...

Yeah, I watched some of this one where they basically took an entire motorcycle apart and put it in duffle bags as "luggage", just so he wouldn't have to pay the $1000 to have it transported via boat in Central America.

For 1000, I would buying a new scooter. But, he's very cleaver.
