Itchy Boots

Wouldn't it be safer to just attach the "selfie stick" to the bike instead of riding one handed on slippery & bumpy road?

In other videos, you'll see she has the selfie stick attached to the engine guard of her CBR500 with the GoPro Max. In previous seasons, Noraly had a selfie stick attached to the rear of her Royal Enfield. The problem with this is that on a dirt road, the vibration put a lot of stress on the stick and the mount resulting in breakages.

Not a very interesting episode, as she pointed out. Reminds me of just how obnoxious riding in the rain all day can be, even with excellent raingear.

Agreed. I also think that heated grips and a heated jacket liner and gloves are essential to riding safely in the rain and cold.

I watched her episode that was linked above for the first time. I could totally understand how cold she was. When our youngest daughter got her PhD, her and her sister decided this was cause for a family vacation...which of course Dad would pay for. :D We went in mid-August and stayed for a couple weeks. I brought some warm clothes, but not nearly enough. I was barely comfortable, and quite often chilly. And I could get into a warm house at night and car during the day.

Noraly talked about the cold, but I never saw "fog" emanating from her mouth when she spoke ... i also searched for an ambient temp gauge on the dash, but didn't recognize any. So I did the next best thing - googled "weather Reyðarfjörður" ... shows 42°F / 6°C.

After I finished Noraly's video, this automagically played as a random feed - nice footage!

Also agree. She’s mentioned heated gear in the past. I can understand the Royal Enfield not up to the task, but the Honda should be able to handle a vest at least. If she continues to ride this fall in Europe, I hope she adds heated gear of some kind. JMHO

In tomorrow's video, Noraly heads back to Denmark ... and the next phase will be exploring Scandinavia.

Keep in mind her videos are several weeks behind.

Yup, as I a Canadian, I am one of the world's leading experts in crummy riding weather . I can certainly confirm that wet is a drag and cold can be tough, but cold AND wet is absolutely the worst and the closer you get to your destination, the colder and wetter you feel for some odd reason.

I don’t think Noraly will get very far north in Sweden without heated gear.

She'll be fine in the southern part. Temperatures in the north though are around 1c tonight in Kiruna.

That is one heavily loaded bike! Granted the camping gear does take up space and so does camera gear, computer and drones and chargers.......

I just finished rewatching Eps 9-16. I love the drone footage especially in Ep 9. No Game of Drones at the castle. Disappointing but not unexpected. I regret that I have but one thumb to give Noraly per video.

That is so freakin' awesome. I don't know if that's their ride or if they said "Hey can you take a pic of us with your bike?" Awesome. Just sayin'.
