I think, as reported elsewhere, it’s a GoPro Max 360° on a boom mount.I assume the close up footage from the right-front of the bike is from the drone as well.

I was trying to figure that out. I thought it might be a boom and there's a shadow of a boom on the ground. Yet I can never see the actual boom. So I thought it might be a drone. I'll have to look closer.I think, as reported elsewhere, it’s a GoPro Max 360° on a boom mount.
I saw the shadow of the selfie stick as well, but both her hands were on the bar. Apparently the software for the 360 degree camera can photoshop the boom out and the only telltale is the shadow projected on the ground.
In her blog she only mentions one drone but on the ferry she mentioned she had two drones.
She does have skills to make it all work! I need to go out and practice.
There are three modes for the drone, Normal, Fast and cinematic. The cinematic is the slowest and smoothest, I suspect she uses that the most.I think one key factor is she does not ride very fast.
I'd guess likewise. Most of her riding allows her to appreciate what she's looking at and her drone footing has a similar feel to it. I had assume she was using some flavor of Follow Me.The cinematic is the slowest and smoothest, I suspect she uses that the most.
I was wondering about that as well! It looked pristine (or as pristine as tundra can get?). On board the ferry she did remark she had considered quick a drone flight implying it might not be approved but didn't because of the wind (or was it about getting caught?). So maybe she's willing to color outside the lines if there's little to no harmful effects?I was surprised that she was permitted to go off-road across the tundra.
if enough commenters complain
That sounds like a job for — Noraly Woman!Well, there's only 1,700 comments ... maybe you could filter through them and report back how many complained : )
I was surprised that she was permitted to go off-road across the tundra. That sort of terrain is normally pretty fragile and I would have thought that the Icelandic government would control access to it fairly carefully.
Nonetheless, superb videos as always from Noraly.
