Where did you ride today?

My work laptop was overheating, so I had to take it the 62.5 miles to work. So that's what it is like when there is no traffic!

On top of that, no Lane Splitting required! :thumb:

Round trip was 125 miles! :hat3:

After several days of not getting out due to a bit of bad weather, or outside spring yard work, I finally went for a short ride today. It was just an easy cruise around town this time, but I still was able to mostly stay on main roadways with long stretches between stoplights and slightly faster speed limits. And with much less traffic these days it turned out to be a nice ride. I ended up with only 22+ miles this time but was nice to get out.

Rode to newton today. Looked down and saw i was doing 85. The roads here in boston change so much. Bumpy to smooth to
Cement, over diagonal railroad tracks.
I pretty much pissed off a bunch of guys that were drag racing their high end cars around the city. Got off the pike and was lost in south boston, among the fish packers for a half hour.
At this point, i pretty much suck on the bike. No timing yet and pretty rough at the most basic things like red lights, turning and basic survival on the bike. But, i havent fallen off yet! Im better than the first day.
I am in love with this bike, but its a stallion. I was thinking about the beemer last year. I really notice how top heavy the beemer was and how the 1100 isnt. Very different bikes!

Took the Yamaha ST out for about 200 miles of great back roads in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties. The weather has been hot here saw a high of 96 today.

Warm today, but got out early. Headed east through rural San Diego County. Took a break in the shade under the I-8 bridge at Descanso, then headed back west on Japutal Valley Rd. and Lyons Valley Rd.

Great to have little traffic to contend with (except the truck that came around a blind corner on my side of the line - he was avoiding bicyclists in his lane, so I forgave him).

Put in about 300 miles in N GA, NC & TN Saturday. TWoS stop (N GA Rally base camp) then my first trip to Jim's Smokin' Que. Excellent BBQ! Great 80 degree, sun drenched weekend to be in the saddle!

Been riding the Honda ST around San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties a lot, did over 240 miles today and filled the bike up with 312 miles on the tank it took 7.239 gallons and it was still running!
