Where did you ride today?

That bird is a female Kestrel. Be careful with your Subway tonight, she looks hungry. Do you want to know the hand signal I would give you for a Kestrel if we were riding?

It looks like you are parked right on a gator slide.....

Darn bird looks fake, but I had to whistle to get it even to look at me...;)

Went for a leisurely 150 mile ride through Southeast Mo. Mississippi River at St. Genevieve ferry landing.KIMG0135.JPG
I've been there, amazing how old the houses around there are , the 1750's and up. I didn't have time to cross on the ferry. I need to do that soon. We'll cross on it next summer perhaps.

70 degrees, windy, overcast day in Juno (Beach), but no visible humidity yet. Heading back to Weeki Wachee where it should be nicer. If MarkB were a groundhog it'd be at least 6 more weeks of winter for him. ;)

PS Home ... not one drop of high humidity. :thumb:

I rode to the beach as far away from Tom’s beach above can be and still be in Florida. The waves are running real high right now with the 15 to 20 mph breeze we have today.

It was about 66 degrees on the 96 mile ride. A good ride!

it was 56f when i headed out, went over and checked out my old school.43f by the time i got home. i'm saddened by this 20231215_163549.jpg20231215_163708.jpg20231215_163714.jpg20231215_163826.jpg20231215_163846.jpg20231215_163911.jpg

Was that the result of something you did while playing... er... experimenting with explosives in the classroom?

I rode past what I consider my home town (where I attended K-9 grades) on my way back from FerrySTOC once. I found my old elementary school. Still standing and no fence around it but all the windows are boarded up. My old Jr High school is gone though. Replaced by a big parking lot and a big patch of grass and a Mc Donald's.
