Look at all u'all in the sunshine! Testing my Christmas trip kit out today. Didn't make a proper ride of it at only 80 miles and no ton - note proper is 100 miles with the ton. Just off to the store twenty some miles away and then to the grocery store, not the one accross the street but the one another twenty some miles away. Now it was 30 miles home and a friend was walking on the road. All there was time for was a friendly honk and heading home before dark, or at least most of the way before dark. I was going to post on the cold ride thread but this one caught my eye. Only got down to 22 Fahrenheit so nothing less than a warm Minnesota Thanksgiving weekend. But the wind sure was special! My windward fingers weren't too happy. Nor was my head. I'll have to break out the snowmobile helmet and thicker baklava to go out all day. But likely there will be some snow, albeit El Nino. Snow brings the salt trucks and makes me think twice, but not thrice nor very hard thinking. Yes we had a dusting so I captured what's lingered through the day.pro-8EjhPH19.jpeg

You have many more months to go and already have cabin fever?
Here's hoping the El Nino causes the warmer winter and reduced snowfalls as it is supposed to so those of us who usually experience cold and snow can ride more.

ALABAMA!!! I rode to LA, Lower ALABAMA!! At least once a year I need to ride clear down to the Gulf Shores \ Orange beach tourist trap area to confirm the traffic is always hectic. It was, I sat at least 15 minutes at stoplights in the 5 mile area near Gulf Shores at the beach area.

I rode clear on out 23 miles down the Fort Morgan peninsula to Fort Morgan Historic State Park and where the ferry can be boarded to boat over to Dauphin Island if you choose. I didn't today just turned around and headed back east. Here is a pic of a part of the Fort structure. 165 miles of cloudy riding with temps from 52 to 60.
