What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

I'm waiting to see if it comes with the wiring harness / relay stuff or if I will need to wire up my own.

Well the wiring harness came with it, but cut before the relay / fuse so I'll have to wire one up.

I also managed to find and purchase a Hondaline OEM top case. Paid more than I wanted but these are hard to find. I'll have to see how the black case looks on the silver bike, and worse case I'll paint it to match. It should be here by end of the week.

I removed the doublestick tape for the Mirror Air Deflectors that were on the 2010 mirror covers from the accident.

You can see the tape I removed, above them, on the right.

I still need to see if I can figure out some way of taking care of the rub marks from the accident. (not pictured)

I was getting ready to put the carbs back on the bike when I thought to try a method for checking the fuel levels in the bowls that I had read about but never tried. Even if you set the float height the same for all four carbs, there are sometimes variances that cannot be determined unless you use this method. It turned out that mine were close enough not to be a concern (I think). Any carb nerds out there think otherwise?

Installed my new-to-me seat and top box. The seat isn't wired up yet as I had to redo the mounting brackets and wiring for my under top case mounted brake light.

We will.. :)

We just redid our mortgage and have the extra borrowed funds sitting in another account and are just waiting on Spring to turn the ground.

Already have the quote for an additional 4 car garage out back.

Don't feel the need to fit out upstairs too plush, a Kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom, balcony with hot tub, maybe a fully stocked bar and fully inclusive meals is all me and Er'Indoors require. Oh, and your bike .
Upt'North.

I still have 2, the ST and the ZR-7S. I'm up for sharing. You'll have to get used to riding on the wrong side of the road again though.

Did they stick the finger up the exhaust pipe to check emissions? It's getting to that age.

Obo, no, there are no emissions tests carried out on bikes. 'Excessive noise' is purely down to the tester’s discretion. As long as there’s no mark saying ‘race use only’ or ‘not for road use’, an aftermarket exhaust could pass......

Installed my latest purchase today. A grasshopper back rest. Hoping to get some lower back pain relief when riding the beast in the next coming months after the wonderful snow goes away. :)

Yesterday I started my first oil change, but ran out of daylight...
(See thread here: https://www.st-owners.com/forums/threads/st1300-oil-change-procedure.171793/#post-2213921)
Today, I walked outside to see the bike is still under cover, and debated whether I want to remove the oil filter while it's raining.
Well, yeah. I do.
But first I'm going to some auto parts store to look for a socket-style filter wrench, to hasten the conclusion of this project, even though it's likely going to be a one-time use tool, knowing what I know now.
Which means I'll have to take the car - somebody let all the oil out of my bike last night! :D

Switched over to a deep charge battery maintainer and gave her a pat on the tank and covered her back up. I am sure I heard a whimper as I walked away.
