What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Nothing today.....visiting my grand-daughter!:ang1:
But, so far this winter:
1) Clutch fluid replacement
2) Brake fluid replacement
3) Radiator flush and fluid replacement
4) Tear-down, clean, re-lube and re-install windshield mechanism
5) Replace headlight bulbs with higher wattage bulbs
6) Re-route and clean up wiring for Oxford heated grips

I bought a replacement front and rear OEM seat which I plan to make some modifications to.

I'm hoping to use the rear seat pan and make something like this:

Fixing my coolant problem- new overflow hose to buy tomorrow, new rad cap plus a fuel filter while the covers are off. Then another weekend ride!

I have found that these new "improved" batteries give you little, if any warning, that they are about to die!
That is a characteristic of NiCad NiMH and LI-ion. They have a very consistant voltage output compared to carbon-zinc alkaline and lead-acid.
Until they don't.

With my 2010 (commuter bike), Changed out my three or four year old Motobattery (@12.8V) with my two year old Shorai (@13.3V).

Finally, as I'm starting my commute in the mornings or afternoons, the bike isn't trying to stall when I stop. Once I got going, it was fine, but those cold starts were beginning to be a PIA!
