What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Yesterday....Gave Beastie a much needed bath, polish and armor all.

Then today.... bought a set of bag reflector decals

Good morning! My "official" first post!
First thing - I went in the garage and climbed aboard! Made "vroom vroom" sounds, and went back inside. I then went to the Clearview Shields website and saw they're having an annual inventory reduction sale (shields they've made but were returned, blems, etc). Just talked to Craig - turns out he had both shields I have been contemplating for a few weeks (medium shield, light smoke, PRV's and an 11" sport shield, light smoke) for 40% off....basically getting my sport shield for free! Will be driving to Ft. Collins in a few hours to pick them up!

The left side GW foot peg pad was getting a bit too thin, so I replaced it with a new one. The right side was fine. So no need to replace it.

Commute required lots of Lane Splitting today!

So you have GW foot peg pads on your ST? Is that a complete GW peg or just the pad that goes on the ST's peg?

It's the hole peg. The pads from a GW will not fit on the pegs from an ST1300, but you can put the whole peg/pad of a GW on a ST1300. :hat3:

So something like these?

I just bought the standard GW pegs. At least you can replace the rubber pad easily enough.

I bought a pair of GW pegs what were pulls off a Wing > Trike conversion. Direct replacement. You reuse the 'return' spring so mind how it's fixed as you disassembly.

It's a small mod that makes a 3/4–1" difference depending on who you talk to. I measured before and after and it was 1". The brake and gearshift levers will be a little higher. Upshifts may need more deliberate travel or you might miss a shift. I acclimated pretty much but it wouldn't hurt to lower the levers a bit.

Another tough day on the road. While out on the 1100 ripping around Palos Verdes this afternoon, my RDL 1300 saddle showed up on the front porch. Big box, put that baby on the 1300, putt another 30 miles around the peninsula. Excellent riding weather. Exquisite saddle. :p

Pluto helps unpack box.

Installed and ready to ride.20200131_155802.jpg

Nice to be back on the 1300 again.

Bottom end gets top priority.
Hasn't always been that way, however, at 68, it's a win win.

Welcome to the ST-Owners forum.
Congrats on your Clearview deal.
Thank you. Have actually been a member for awhile but hadn't made any posts.
Yes - very happy with both Clearview shields I got. Getting ready to try out the medium this morning - beautiful weather here today & tomorrow...before the snow flies again on Monday & Tuesday!

That's one fine looking seat. Looks to be ready for all day comfort.
