What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

#1. Nice. Now you friggin tell me. :drool1:
Any particular GW year matter?
(What, your back seater no get GW pegs?!)

#2. OMG. All black ST is soooo sexy!
My B&W is only 1/2 as sexy.
Some SoCal CHP have all black HDs

Next time look at upgrading to the Goldwing front pegs.

That's my 2012... Bobn12ST1300.jpeg

I can't remember the year, but I think they are before the current model...but I really haven't looked. There is another thread that talks about the parts and such: Goldwing Pegs

Replacing the very thin AngelGTs for Bridgestone T31GT. 50cc Sept 20th.
Nice, hope you can post a report on it. I would like to do one of those some time.

Shhhhhhh!!
Don’t tell anyone my secret sauce to getting the foot pad inner bracket to stay aligned when putting the two 8mm bolts back into it from beneath...
(Above all, dont let IGoFar know I got my hands dirty)

Thanks for the encouragement. I have never given a ride report I may have to try. I am not sure what information would be useful...get up. Ride till you need gas x 5, sleep, eat, ride like hell...lol I think you most of the work is upfront in getting the bike and body ready. I will prob do a bbg to start off....Jacksonville to Van Horn MOL...few hours sleep n go...

I use a couple of longer-than-OEM bolts with the heads cut off. Screw them into the threaded metal foot peg piece inside the rubber while it’s in my hand. Drop the peg into the holder, headless bolts into the holes. Remove and replace the bolts with the OEM bolts in turn. I use this technique a couple of times a year as I install/uninstall my Garauld hydration system on the right peg. FWIW

Installed some goldwing crash bars on my steed. Andrew Shadow and this forum were both a great help. The bars cost about $60 off ebay and I drove to Calais Maine to pick them up at a storage Kinek location. They charge $5 per item under 20 lbs I think. We stayed in Bar Harbor for three days. Loved the trip and my back wasn't screaming in pain like i thought it would be. Maine has some nice scenery, friendly people and really smooth roads.

I looked at my naked ST (almost all Tupperware removed) and am looking forward to Thursday when a replacement ECU will arrive and I (hopefully) get rid of the code 25/26 FI light issue!
(But I did ride my K1600GTL to work and the weather was great!)

Cheers,

Derek

Got my rear wheel cushions today.
32-7730 Tour Max
Made in Japan, like the ST.

Ask for the K&L 32-7730. These fit my 2001 ST1100.

Had to look “Garauld hydration system” up to see what it was.

Interesting. That could be used either way (liquids out or in) depending on set up. Seriously, I just use a tactical sippy bag and lay it on the top of the gas tank. The straps work nicely at fork tree and seat to tank spaces.

Using custom alignment bolts is a nice idea too for the foot pegs. Next round, i may get GW pads like Sabres

I rode the 03 to work.
Got home and took the rear wheel off the 06 while leaving the exhaust and rear fender in place6932E04A-8FAC-46AB-AC0F-32F49E031FEE.jpegCBE16ADF-293F-458A-8DF2-AE1EFB4C70F3.jpeg
