What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

@T_C T_C you a AK member?

100+ degree heat... so walked by mine under the cover and shrugged my shoulders. Drove the car to work. Do have a set of Spirit ST's ready to go on. Waiting on angled valve stems to arrive.......

Well, this didn’t happened today. I’ve traded in my 2006 ST for the other “ST”, I now have a 2017 Yamaha Super Tenere (non ES). Did that on July 3 at CycleShack North In Conroe, TX. So,far I’m liking it. Of course, I have to be home in Texas to ride it. Working in Chicago kind of takes the fun out of it.

Takes the fun out of a lot of things. In fact working in general seems to do that... 604 days to go... Not that I am counting or anything.

Congratulations on the new to you ride.
Now you made me start counting! 421 days till retirement ! ( including weekends!)

2 years 1 month and 24 days but I’m not counting either

Replaced my CSC today.
Took quite awhile but I was not rushing. It went pretty smoothly just several dexterity tests along the way.
Thank God for the write ups here or I would not have even attempted it.
All together, nice clean fluid, and working perfectly!
Thanks for the write up Pete!!

Well, yesterday evening I removed the rear wheel, cleaned and re lubed the splines ( loctite moly paste) cleaned the rear caliper and installed new pads. This morning I removed the front wheel, carried it along with a new Michelin PR4 to my local Honda dealer and had the new tire mounted and balanced. $51.00 later I returned home, cleaned the front calipers, installed new pads and reinstalled the front wheel, torqued every thing to spec. Then took her out for a road test, all is well. It was a good day!:thumb: Tomorrow I will install the luggage rack. I’ll be ready to head for the mountains Wednesday morning!:hat1:

Replaced the leaking water pump today. What a pain that was! Hoping I can get time tomorrow to put the Tupperware back on and get back to riding!

Just finished flushing out and refilling the preload adjuster, great video on how to do it in the articles section of the forum, about a 30 minute job if you’ve never done it before, a much overlooked piece of maintenance I think.
The information on this forum is invaluable! :thumb: Thanks to all that contribute!
