Re: Prayers needed for my buddy, Mr. Donaldson
Bob and I sure are saying ours prayers for Bob Donaldson and hoping that he pulls through this glitch in life. So here is the kind of man Bob Donaldson is to me. Bob and I went to the Connecticut camp weekend at Brian's a number of years ago, it was my first time, and whos tent was near ours - Bob Donaldson's. He and I met and started to get to know each other to the point that he confided in me that he had lost his wife approximately seven months prior to that weekend. We had such a nice talk about his wife and many other things in life. During that weekend he joined Bob and I for a nice ride to a small town to the waters edge and did a little site seeing. On our way back to the campground late that afternoon, Bob kept going straight instead of turning into the campgrounds. And Bob and I could not figure out where he had gone. Well, pretty soon he showed up, got off of the bike and we asked him where he disappeared to. Before that ride I had offered him some dark chocolate candy-Dove to be exact and I told him how much I loved dark chocolate candy. Bob Donaldson readily accepted the chocolate. When he got off of the bike he gave me a dark chocolate Snickers bar and I was so impressed with how thoughtful that small gesture was. He purposely went to a local store to buy it for me. Right away that told me the kind of man that Bob Donaldson is. To some that may not mean a lot, but to me it meant a great deal. Bob has since stayed with us at our home here in Pennsylvania and we have enjoyed having him. So, Bob, get well so that all of your
motorcycle friends can enjoy continuing to have you ride with them. Sue Dantinne
