As we take our walk, through the journeys of life, we encounter certain people who have a dramatic effect on our own lives. Bob is certainly one of those people. He is a gentleman of the highest regards. Bob, you are in my thoughts, and my prayers for a complete recovery. Get well soon!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bob earlier this year, a fine gentleman that treats everyone like you have been friends and riding buddies for years. Prayer inbound for Bob, his family, & the medical professionals taking care of him. Get well Soon.

The latest on Bob as I learned from his daughter-in-law this afternoon. Doctors are still assessing his condition... he may have pneumonia along with the pulmonary fibrosis, not sure so they are bringing in a lung specialists. He was more alert today, but that was due to the meds and the increased oxygen. Doc says the numbers are not looking good. They are continuing to force oxygen with a mask type ventilator and hydrate him. Bob still needs all the prayers he can get... it's gonna be an up hill battle!

OMG... I haven't been here on STO for a while and I see this when I check in... Please say this isn't so.. I have always looked up this this gentle legend. I have always enjoyed talking to his man over a piece of pie or at the campfire. I send him prayers to get well soon..

I just now saw this on Facebook, so I got on the forum to see if I could find out something. Such terrible news about a great man. Prayers and wishes for Bob.

Bob is the man we should all aspire to be. I still remember the first time we met at the Crossville RTE and spending the day with him. We have ridden many a mile and stayed at many an event together. It's always enjoyable to spend some conversation time with Bob or ride a few miles together. I hold this man in the highest regard.

We are wishing him the best and keeping him in our thoughts. I am hoping for a speedy recovery.

It was great to see him in Arkansas but he did not look well. Sorry to hear this news. Please keep us all posted on his recovery. He will be in our prayers.

Last night, at about 8:30EST, I received a text from Bob's son Tony...."He's not good. He is sepsis now. They are running lots of antibiotics through him now." I googled sepsis, and from what I could gather, it appears to be a very serious condition. I asked Tony how his dads' spirits were, and he said "mixed".

He was waiting, at that time, to get in to see him. Apparently, since he's ICU, the hospital controls visiting hours.

At anyrate, Bob still needs all the prayers, for a full recovery, he can get.

Not the update I was hoping to hear this morning. I will be praying for our buddy.
