Itchy Boots

The "rod" you mention is for her 360-degree camera. That's another GoPro device, as she's pretty sold on their products.
I'm not yet sure of the new GPS model, but on her website is a blog page, and she always lists her current season's gear there.
Last season she added that shoulder bag / strap thing; it has a pocket for a PLD (Spot, etc.). Pretty sure it's by RevIt. She was introduced to the neck brace while prepping for the desert rally; it cramped her style in some ways and she mentioned that in one of her rally videos.
She was excited about her Garmin 600/660, and then even more excited about the XT... aside from the larger size, I don't know anything about her newest shiny object.

I added aluminium (aloominum if you like!) plates to my trailer to deflect water away from the trailer hubs after I had corrosion trouble...

That one is a Insta 360 one X 3.
Now, look who hasn't read Noraly's gear list for Season 7!
(That would be me.)
She used the GoPro Max previously, so I guess she has upgraded that, too.
The Insta 360 actually is more popular among the 360 video-ers, for several reasons, but I thought she just was sold on GoPro gear.
Frequently wrong but never in doubt. Again.
The profile DID look more like the Insta, but I was assuming again. The Max is more like a little cube, by comparison.
I'll have my press secretary draft a letter of contrition, which I will read at my next scheduled press conference.

Her gps tablet looks a lot like this one:

I liked that video. I know Noraly chose the muffler because of the sound (and it saved some weight) but it would been annoying to me in a very short time. She works at picking up bits of language and that's impressive. She seems to get a lot of milage out of a few words.

I have to wonder at the wisdom of going for a long ride in the desert like she did. Not said, but I would think she has a spot beacon or personal epirb. Who would come and get you in Morocco?

One of the guys in our BMW club who was over there years ago (pretty much in the same towns Noraly is in now) went on an atv ride into the desert w/ a guide. He said the sand is very very fine and sinking in is inevitable. The ATV's had wide low pressure tires and they sat back for traction (so he said). Regardless, how well traveled was the area where she encountered difficulty? All sorts of what if's.

She definitely travels with an EPIRB, I don't know which one.
Recently someone here asked about the pocket seen on the right strap of her backpack... that pocket carries her beacon device.
It may be listed in her blog where she details all her gear.

Apparently, Noraly doesn't specify her communication equipment. On her equipment page, folks in the Comments section guess at the Sat device(s).

One person feels confident "the red device attached to the jacket seems to be a Garmin Inreach Mini 2 ..."

I suspect that she is not naming some of the hardware she carries if the item was not donated or made available by the mfr at a reduced price. If nothing else, Noraly is a sharp businesswoman with a keen sense of her advertising worth. Some of her equipment is named only in her educational blogs - the how to be a videographer series she has on her website. You have to pay for those...everything is not free.

Know your value. Do not ever let ANYone reduce your value. YOU determine your value, and you alone.
Valuable life skill.

Merely an explanation for use of the term "Mordor."
Hard as it may be to believe, not everyone is a fan of Tokkien.
But blessed are those that have the books.
