How fast have you had your ST?

142 indicated, on an empty interstate somewhere in W. Va. 20% downhill grade. Just had to see. I believe there is about 10% error in the speedometer, so realistic about 130..

That's what Hubby said to me...
On our way back from NM, at a stop I said "Hey Hon, you do know we are hitting speeds over 100." he said your speedometer is off to begin with and it is off by 10% the faster you go (not word for word but close) he say with a grin:D...I didn't buy it.
So I really don't know my speedometer is apparently wrong and I was a good girl going the speed limit...;)

I had mine up to 127 once. Got in a drag race with a car and cleaned his clock! I didnt look at the speedo but was re-setting the GPS the next day and saw the max speed. Got kinda sick to my stomach...................

Got in a little contest with a Mustang. He was me coming 2 lane road. He bumped it up to about 100mph and then I proceeded to drop him like a hot rock.

About 120mph tops Saturday.

I had just left riding on the Salt Flats (the car washes out there won't let you rinse off the salt for some reason) so after finding a restaurant who left their garden house outside and hooked up, I rinsed off the bike and opened it up to well, dry her off. I was running about 115 (fastest I ever when on a bike) when I hear a trucker talking about a hot trooper (or sheriff) on the CB. Next thing I know this woman cop is passing me! That was a good feeling :run1: I backed down shortly after that.

By the way, the Salt Flats...ain't flat! Thats a rough surface, but kind of cool that you can get lost in plain sight.

Only got as far as 202 Ks per H, about 126.5MPH Approx. Encountered traffic so had to slow down...:D:D

143 MPH saved on the Garmin. 150 MPH on the Speedometer. It is quite irritating that the Speedometers are so far off, My first ST1300 was 7 MPH off and my current ST1300 is 4 MPH off. This also means the actual mileage is off as well.

I've had my ST1300 up to 125mph.

I've had my ZX11 up to 175mph. Not so much a twitch at that speed. Like it was riding on rails.

It's not something I do all the time. A majority of the time I am perfectly happy riding at the speed limit. But there are times when there's no traffic that I dial it up for a short burst of speed just to remind myself that I am riding a fairly quick motorcycle.

Just got her, had to see what she had in her. Up to 135 and back down smooth.. That was enough. Usually run Speed Limit +12 ( give or take a couple) :07biker:
