Where did you ride today?

Now Lake Holbrook, Mineola Tx.

sand!!

I rode to work this morning, 48°, country twisties. No wildlife this time. Last time, plenty of deer, rabbits, and I had to stop for a turkey tom all puffed up in the middle of the road, showing off for a hen standing on the side of the road.
Maybe one of these days I'll actually post a picture of my bike :)

Before I :rofl1:, did you at least get a burger?
Upt'North.
Heck no!
I like the pay, but their burgers are some of the worst I've ever had. And I would know, because I ate 2 of them. Months apart.
Plus, I work on their tech and I'm in their kitchens all the time.
So, I'll rephrase:
Laugh all you like.
I got to ride, so it's OK.

My wife would say: " It's a lake you moron; that's dirt"', but I'd never say that! :rofl1:

Uh... maybe that was one of the other Toms...:shrug2:

Tom
I recall you saying I hate camping on sand, it gets everywhere... ok it lake dirt, Your wife is probably smarter the both of us :thumb::rofl1:

Just so we can move on with REAL rides, I'll just mention maybe they are not *the worst* I've ever had.
Just nothing to write home about, although obviously I AM writing about them.
I was waiting for my first cup of coffee (yeah, late today), so until I get that first sip, my entire world is a tad bleaker.
But it's all better now.
And they have Barqs Root Beer, so I get a cup for the drive home. I often have to carry parts to replace that don't fit on the bike.
We can move on now, with my sincere apologies dor my disruption.
And it is OK to laugh.
It's good for us.
