Where did you ride today?

Where can you get a mile away from LP 40 and get away with it? I used to live down there and the closest a non-VIP could get was on the causeway about 7.5 miles away. I saw launches from Apollo 17 night launch to one of the last Shuttle launches and usually watched from Titusville 12 miles away.
The mile was a guess. I was at Nicol Park in Pt. St. Johns. The measured distance from where I was to the launch complex is 4 miles across the Indian River which is directly West of the Assembly Building at KSC.

Nicol Park is 13 miles to 40 as the crow flies, flying 63 degrees true. Doesn't seem like it though.

I started the day in West Palm Beach, Florida and rode all farm roads up to Brooksville to get a Madstad windshield for my Tracer, then more two lanes to get back to Gainesville. About 700-800 miles in the last two days. Oh, and I moved the South Florida tag while I was down there.

Beautiful weather this afternoon in ATL. Took the ST for a 100 mile trip the long way to Monticello & back. Excellent ride! Temp 57 @ 345p. 50 @ 615p back in the stall.520082FE-EF46-4385-8BEE-3946B6D05CA5.jpeg

48 degrees and dry and clear in southern NJ so I opened the garage and went for a little 10 mile loop ride. 10 miles of smile all the way. This may have been the last almost 50 degree day for me... :(. My low temp cut off is 48 degrees.... yep, fair weather rider but hey... at least I was riding the beast!

46 for a high here in Iowa, so rode in to work. 26° in the morning. Round trips around 18 miles.

Got about 75 miles in for December (so far), that's not bad for northern Iowa :)

40's up to 50 yesterday. 150 miles on a couple of antique Harleys thru the hills of TN in memory of a brother and friend taken too soon. We take him for a ride every year on the anniversary of the lord taking him.

Upper 30’s when I left to go watch my grandson in a preschool Christmas pageant. Got lost coming home and it took about 60 miles to finally get back home up here on the ridge.

Tomorrow looks nice.

Funny how you can get lost so close to home! ;)

My Buddy, Bill had something to do for lunch, so I rode down to Popeye's Chicken for the Tuesday Special.

I then took the long way back to work! :thumb:

Didn’t get to ride today, but really enjoy reading where everyone’s ST took them. Join you again soon

Rode down the coast to Ormond Bch today to watch the Falcon 9 launch.......which was postponed again. Beautiful day though and I got to test the Aerostich heated jacket I rewired. It worked great at 50 degrees pre dawn. It doesn't seem to heat up as much as the Gerbings does but it will do fine in the typical 35 to 55 degree temps I use heated gear in.
