Today me and my Hayabusa friend went on our annual south end of Nova Scotia run. Our 1st stop was at Shag Habour. In 1967 there was a sighting of a UFO(S). There is lots of documention of the event. The USA navy was also envolved. The museum was closed because of Covid19. We then ventured to Yarmouth to visit Cape Forchu. Very old lighthouse. Then we went to the French shore. Lots of history there. Mapquest say just over 500km. My trip odometer shows 580km20200620_183720.jpg

Tallest wooden church in North America

Left Middletown, Ohio yesterday around 0530 and returned right at 2100. In between I rode a little over 700 miles. I went over into West Virginia and hit some unbelievably beautiful back roads. A bunch of little towns like Grafton, Masontown, Kingwood, Philippi, and Spencer. The ride on WV 76 from Kingwood south along the Cheat River (ultimately to WV38) was worth the long day. Just a great day of riding, not including the fairly close deer mishap. That little bugger started right in front of me and turned around and went back as soon as I nailed on the brakes. Huge adrenaline dump!

I did a 200 mile loop yesterday I used scenic and asked for extra curvy roads. t was a great ride on a really nice day. Its good to be getting out on the bike again. Scenic took me on some great roads like Shades of Death Rd. and Dark Moon road among others. I looped out through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area on Old Mine Rd then Rt 519 and 521 up in to NY State and looped back around the Wanaque Reservoir past Greenwood lake and on to Berkshire Valley road which leads me home.

I did a 100 or so mile loop out over by @Shuey s place. They is some real Florida hillbillie's over his way. Note the Clampett's place is an actual log cabin and has been covered with the fine roll roofing-siding a few years back.

You can always tell a quality residence by its outside sofa. It's the same over here.
When I was employed to visit, mainly unannounced, a certain element of society you always knew you'd arrived at the right address when you saw a sofa on the lawn. For lawn read overgrown weeds.
Nice piccie.
Upt'North.

Now you're going to tell me it's @Shuey place aren't you :doh1:.

Blackhills ride over the the week at NatSTOC.
