Where did you ride today?

Drove up to Berkeley with a friend to pick up an ST1100 1995 with ABS & TC. Needs a bit of TLC and will post pictures soon. It has a full set of wind deflectors and stainless steel exhaust system...…. I rode the bike back 215 miles and he drove the car. I had the best part of the deal! It has only done 38756 miles and seems much more frugal with fuel and a lot smoother than my red 2000 ST.

Took a 270-mile ride yesterday. The route was up to Flagler Beach via US 1 and A1A, then over to Palatka, south to Sanford then 46 back to US 1 at Mims and then home. It was hot, temps in mid-nineties.

Just returned home from the White Mountains of New Hampshire with the cb1100f.net group Fall Ride. Just 1,420 miles over 4 days. Mt. Washington was daunting on the ST, but I made it up and down without incident and got my sticker.

Returned last Monday from a trip to the Gaspe area of Quebec and Baddeck Nova Scotia. Nine days and 3020 miles of riding. Beautiful area and weather.

Friday - rode from home to my friend's house in Glen Rock, PA.
Saturday - rode with friend to Shady Maple Smorgasbord RTE.
Sunday - rode from friend's house in Glen Rock, PA. to home.
Monday - home with legs and hips recovering from the above.

I bet they're pretty at the moment, are the leaves dying yet.
It's about 10 years since I was that way.
I think I drove a Buick Park Avenue up to the top, it was a little windy on top.
Thanks for the memories.
I've still got my sticker too.

Not today, but Saturday...I rode to Sattley, CA from the Napa Valley to pay respects to an ex-girlfriend who passed away back in Feb, and is interred there. Took almost 3 hours to get there...I REALLY need to do something about that stock seat. My poor cheeks were screaming for mercy by the time I got back home.

Really no change in the foliage just yet.

Rode from Seattle to Boise and back this past weekend. Total 1,020 miles. Ride out was calm and sunny - beautiful. Ride back was OK in the beginning, but then got very windy and wet. Still very enjoyable I must say - and no discomfort anywhere on my body. I tend to take a very short break every 60-90 minutes, and that really prevents any knee, hip, back problems for me. Now I have to find out where to ride next!
