Where did you ride today?

If got going fast enough with a good long run up to it you might be able to hydroplane across...

...at least some of it.

April 7 2024. Little jaunt to Digby, NS, from Truro, NS. I went down the 102 to the 101 (route to on the right of the map) And met a friend in Falmouth. Came home via the route to the far left through Maitland, with a stop to Lequille Country Store for moonshine and beef jerky.

Another sunny day and temp around 80F. Needed groceries so I hooked up the trailer and headed to Walmart for a curbside pickup. Turned a 4.7 mile round trip into about 31 miles again. Part of the ride was really windy and I could feel some tugging. The trailer was empty until I stopped at the store near the end of the ride so that might have been it. I can just see the top/side of the trailer in my left mirror (adjusted just for that purpose) and it looked stable behind me so thinking it was just the wind playing tricks.

Last 3 days of my journey from Turkey to Georgia. Met fellow guys who travelled and followed back home together. It was fun to ride in a group but eventually almost at the end of the trip I was hit from behind by one of fellow rider on honda VTX  Managed to stay upright but ended up with ruined right saddlebag and a muffler.
Had a walk at the old city center of Ankara. At last 2 days didn't take many pics- landscape was little boring if compare to other legs of the trip.

As far west on mainland Norway you can get (aarebrot, årebrot). I've said that about another place in the general area , They both claim to be furthest west -we are talking meters
Anyway , never been here before. 40km dead end road , But well worth the trip. Lots of old stuff along the way .I'll be back

On Friday after work, I put in about 150 miles of just riding around west-central Ohio. Some highway, lots of winding country roads, a good bit of city/suburb, and just overall getting the chance to have fun not going to anywhere. Best friend led on her Rebel 500; gave it a brief ride too and learned what an uncomfortable seat really feels like.

Still need to be careful on my right turns (bad tendency to throttle a smidge too heavy and take it REALLY wide) but the consideration to buy a second "smaller" bike has faded to nothing.

This has been a thought trip for the bike and the wallet. Hopefully you can patch it up and not have to get new parts. Beautiful scenery.
