160 mile ride today.......thought I'd stop and visit JimSTer in Iowa City but I called first and he didn't answer....I get that a lot!!?? ........went to the BMW/Honda dealer next but I got lost.......What in the name of Jose Jimenez am I doing near the Amanas??....Went by Norway (Don't remember crossing the pond) but I missed Sweden......So I just went home! Finally feeling well enough and off of meds enough to go for a little ride. Only went a little over 21 miles to drop off a package at the local USPS terminal (1.7 miles away). Needed to blow out a few cob webs from the bike. This year I will have the fewest miles since my Gold Wing days. More like when I rode my Vulcan 750 23 years ago. I could only stand to be in the saddle on that bike for a half hour max. But this year has been a series of ride interruptions keeping me off the bike way more than I like. Looking forward to next year being better.

Just a little ride around Santa Barbara County, this is overlooking Goleta. High for the day was 71 and no rain.
So it was 12C (53F) and sunny here yesterday, downright balmy for November 16th in Ontario, Canada. It might be the last time we have that warm a day again before next April, so what better reason to go for a ride over a short 104km loop to the north of Orangeville on some of my favourite roads.
Went for a 80km ride yesterday to try out ,switching from tall winter Windshield to the Summer one with the wind deflector from my Silverwing, works okay,and is a little quieter than the winter one. Will attach pictures soon as i take one of the bike.

Imagine a beautiful black ST instead of the bmw so ugly you have to put a sack over it. And a green tent. Yup that’s me here tonight. Trying to catch t Boone padden but I think he’s too far ahead.Left FLaSToc yesterday on my way to left coast. Had to camp at Anahuac, Tx. in rememberance of Krazy Karl.

FYI, I was not attacked by flying penguins or gators last night. Still alive,
Pleasant little 150 mile bimble around the Texas Panhandle. Mobeetie and Tascosa were the only towns in the Panhandle's early history.
Still wandering in the desert, fantastic weather, free camping BLM Amboy, Ca., no tent needed, just roll out the bag and mattress.
