Today, just into town to buy train tickets, and home the slightly longer way. I'd normally cycle but still getting my stamina back after a run-in with The Plague.

Yesterday, over to South Queensferry, not for the usual Saturday biker gathering by the old ferry slip, which in any case isn't my thing, but for a bit of ship spotting. This one, in fact.

The Black Pearl caught a good tailwind in her sail and scooted right across Montana today. 850 miles was smooth sailing but COLD. Temps from 42 to 68 all day.

Father's day present to myself ,rode to Squamish and back. 200 kilometers on the world famous Sea to Sky highway. Got a bit wet riding through a down pour five minutes from home,oh well, pants needed a wash anyway. Sorry no pictures ,too busy enjoying the ride to stop. Replaced the battery in the am. Then, rode from Salisbury, MA to Rochester, NH (38 miles) to play a round of disc golf on Father's Day. Took the 'no highways' route home hoping for a little bit of the twisties, but there was too much traffic to "just ride". Actually, I got stuck behind a pickup truck that could barely keep his lane for the most enjoyable section of the route, with no opportunities to lawfully pass (single lane, double yellow). I just kept my distance and enjoyed it anyway.

I made it to Devils Tower NP for the day and night. I got here early enough to grab a camp site this close to the big rock.

It was at this point I knew I was flustered. I went over one too many hills looking for a camp spot I had heard about. There was no turning around. I stopped midstream HAHA to take a few pics. Sweating large bullets I did make it through and back across.

On Fathers Day, I did a modified version of the IBA trip around NY, to qualify for the SS1000.
Now I just have to submit everything to IBA.
