Put a grass hopper back rest on. Did not like the fit. So my friend Bill put the torch to it for a better fit. Painted it while it was still hot.

Rode about a 200 mile loop along CA126 to Santa Paula, CA150 to Ojai to CA33 (Maricopa Highway) to Lockwood Valley Road to Reyes Creek Campground & Cafe for lunch ( Cafe is apparently closed due to covid ) continued to Frazier Park / Gorman to Sandburg then home via Pine Canyon / Elizabeth Lake Rd / Bouquet Cyn. Tried out my new Alaska Leather ST1300 sheepskin buttpad. (Barbara from A.L. asked me to let the forum members know the ST buttpad comes standard with three straps. One holding the main pad and two more for the pad's front 'wings' along the tank. I did quite a bit of stand-up riding and the pad never moved.) Also got to try out the new Pendle parking brake a few times. I like it very much.

Wonder if she would consider a group buy here?
It ain't no Russell, but it ain't cheap, either, for what it is.

But better have drop them onto the tank than into it.

Ah.. true... Someone is telling me that this is why you can't remove your key from the doorlock, until the gas cap door is close and locked.

Was just the ONE key, as I separate it from the Givi key and the housekey.
But from experience, I can testify that the one key is enough to make me mad with myself.
EDIT: But you make a good point. Maybe next time, I'll accidentally drop it in the tank.
It will be hard, though, because I can't remove the key until the gas cap is closed and locked.
Still, with my luck sometimes, ...

Yeah, good point Mark. That is what I realised after I send my post.

So, the only way to drop your key into the tank, is when you are using your second key to go faster.

I just ordered one but have to wait till September. Tony is out of the country and can't ship right now. He offered a refund which i declined. Ask that he ship it when he returns. Read about these a while back and then forgot about them. Now anxious to try one.

Went out in the rain. 96 mile round trip to buy some sausage rolls. It rained all the way there and all the way back. I don't like rain, but I do like the sausage rolls I get from a distant farm shop. Could have gone in the car, but it's the weekend and not snowing so riding the bike is compulsory.
