I sprayed WD40 on saddlebag latches and levers. Opening went from slightly difficult to very smooth.

Well done Ecca. Hope you have a great summer.AmethyST got a new pair of boots! Pair of Bridgestone BT023 Battleaxes fitted and balanced for £220 which I thought was a good price. These were fitted when I first bought the bike and I have now got used to them as was on Pirelli Diablos on my FZR. Will now be able to do a mileage test over the summer!
Thanks fnmag. And wishes for a good summer with lots of Smiles to all members in the US of A!Well done Ecca. Hope you have a great summer.
Yes it will - Get some Tri-Flow Lubricant. That'll change.
Always, without a doubt, the best destination!Headed someplace inland I know not where.
I average 8k front and 12k rear on the 023. They're a great tyre that always feels secure. EnjoyAmethyST got a new pair of boots! That's good mileage from an 023 Drew, is that mainly one up? I tended to destroy 023's front and rear at about 6K but that's with a pillion and luggage in the Alps etc.I average 8k front and 12k rear on the 023. They're a great tyre that always feels secure. Enjoy
Yes, only me on it, with 2 or 3 European jauntsThat's good mileage from an 023 Drew, is that mainly one up? I tended to destroy 023's front and rear at about 6K but that's with a pillion and luggage in the Alps etc.

Excellent mileage on those tires.Yes, only me on it, with 2 or 3 European jaunts
Guess that's why it's good to ride staggered with other riders[emoji1787]Took a short 110 mile RTE with a group today. Coming away from a stop sign, I didn't get it in first gear and tried to take off in second or third. (No ones ever done that! Right?) The bike behind me bumped me. He hit the plastic rear fender and shoved it up against the rear tire. When I took off, the fender caught on the tire and pulled the fender and license plate up under the tire. Made an awful noise. Stopped and backed the bike up and got it out and finished the ride. Came home and cut off the bottom part of the fender with me dremel tool and put the license plate back on. Will have to do until I can get a replacement. Or maybe not! Scuffed up the rear tire a bit, but only cosmetic damage.
Too close indeed. We were riding staggered, or at least those in from of me were. Can't say for those behind at the light/sign. This guy was anticipating my move so no room for something going wrong. Fact is the other bike was just too close.
