What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

I fired up some heat in the garage, duSTed off the St & Shadow. Time to slick things up some. Suppose to get 1" to 2 " of white crap today. Yup gonna get slick. This weather sucks!!! So gonna slick up with this236560 has anyone use it ? I have once & I like it.

Finally replaced and bleed the brake fluid after replacing the pads all the way around. Also did a valve clearance check. Was very happy to see the valves are pretty much the same at 70k miles as they were at 45k. I'm debating pulling the headers and having them jet-hot coated. Other than that, she's ready to ride once the snow stops!

Went to my kids highschool parking lot after hours and practiced u-turning. Getting better at it, but not as good as the pros yet.

Also testing new Sena Prism Tube WiFi helmet cam.

If you haven't already, watch the Ride Like a Pro videos. They never get old. I make a point of showing them to my local CMA chapter at the beginning of every ride season. It is always time well spent.

Thank you

I am a big fan of online MC training. Currently watching how the teardrop uturn is done.

Yes the side cowels need to be removed that's the hardest part of replacing the marker bulbs
I’m just replaced mine and didn’t have to remove anything.
I turn the wheel all the way to the left and reached between the fairing and the handlebars, grabbed the rear boot and slowly wiggled it out. Changed the bulb tested to make sure it works then reinstalled. Repeated for right side except turned wheel to far right.
Took about 15 minutes.

That maybe worth riding to Texas to get you to do this for me!

Anyone know where I can get a set of mirror wind deflectors for my '07 ST? Have the fairings already, just would like to complete it. Thx!

Sorry about the photo, did have the third hand so I was juggling throttle and I Phone in slow moving traffic...
Does it tell you that the turn signal is still flashing?

My friend Bill, the guy that bought my '04#2, decided that his knee needed a workout, and over did bowling night. Yep :hurt1:

He's not on crutches yet, but since he hurt it a couple of weeks ago, he continues to push himself and last night he pushed himself into ER. :doh1:

Needless to say, until he gets it fixed, there will be no :bk13: for him.

To help him solve two issues, I rode the bike from work up to his home, about 10 miles away. One issue out of the way.

The other issue is he needs to take the bike up to Nevada on the weekend of the 15 thru 18th to register it. So we worked out a plan where next Thursday, I'll get a ride in with one of the guys I work with (bringing my MC gear with me), he'll take me up to his place where I'll ride the bike up to my place. we'll attach my trailer to his truck, then he'll be able to haul the bike up there and get the bike registered. We'll haven't to figured out the logistics on the return trip just yet!
