What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Sept 1st my 07STa failed a safety inspection. I checked everything except for the forks. Right fork was wet.. dam... parts on order, so while I'm waiting I changed the coolant, flushed the brake and clutch. I use honda type 2 antifreeze. I flush and replace every 2 years religiously. This will be the 2nd set of fork seals I replaced. I use 10w fork fluid. 132565km.

Ride by three big rivers here in the NE US. Delaware, Hudson, Susquehanna. Through the Catskills ll in NY as well. Stopped at a couple Museums and some random drink coffee stops.

Went out for my first long ride with my youngest. Covered 300 miles around southern WI and northern Illinois. We had a great time. His butt was a bit sore by the end of the day. He asked when are we going riding again? I think he will do.

Coolant leak after a short run on Sunday, fan not coming on, took most of the plastic off to inspect, started where the coolant was leaking, right side ah it’s only coming out of expansion tank overflow, checked fan fuse, that was ok, disconnected wire from fan switch ran wire to ground to check fan, woohoo all is good, new fan switch ordered for £15, I’m a very happy guy.

Also bike post today so will make room for the new tool set I got on eBay from upt’North thanks.

Rode to the Toledo area to meet @dlare to pickup a Sargent seat set. Rode home with the stocker strapped on the passenger seat
Then I rode up in to that state up north and westward to the tri-state marker.



Then I rode south for about 20 miles in Indiana, then south-eastward to Xenia to move along the World wide A-Z game that was stuck on X.


Then rode home, dodging 4 deer about 3 miles from home!

I replaced front and rear turn signals, and brake lights with LED's. AND put in the correct relay to eliminate the hyper flash. Easy job! Way more visible!

Hi @Arkterra. I am trying to replace all lighting on a new to me 2010 ST 1300 with LEDs as fall season starts from tomm. Could you let me know where the relay is that you replaced as I need to do that too to stop the hyperflashing.
