I purchased my 8oz tub for $48.00 last year. The current price is $53.42. Still a far cry from $70.00.
I went to my local auto parts store (Bumper To Bumper) and asked for the Loctite. They didn't have any on-hand. I asked them to order it. I had it that afternoon- 40 something dollars. Auto parts don't stock it, but they all can get it. Check with them.

Depends on what he used. If what he used meets or exceeds the requirements stipulated by Honda, you're good to go. If it only has 3% molybdenum, as many greases have, that is a different matter. If that is what he used, I have no idea if any damage will occurr in 6,000 miles, but why risk it would be my reaction.will the Pennzoil work till I can use the suggested Loctite LB8012 moly at the next tire change...?
Pennzoil 302 EP2, any idea what the moly % is?
