Itchy Boots

That was tough to see the damage done to the seals but great work on the part of the Ocean Conservation Namibia crew. Noraly did a pretty good job keeping up while holding the GP. Pretty funny bit – "Aren't you that lady... Aren't you that guy..." They belong to a mutual admiration society. A really great episode.

I'd like to have seen Noraly use her drone as a loach for spotting impaired seals but the magnification of its camera is probably too low. "It's time to buzz the seals..." "No - bad idea!"

She's doing a live chat now.
Her comments on the current issues re South Africa and flooding in Europe shows me she has her head screwed on right. Others that suggest what she 'should be doing'......she has 800K subscribers. Wonder how many they have?
Some of the questions she gets makes me wonder if those asking have ever left their apartment or been without cell service.

I hope she keeps doing the videos HER way and ignore all those sitting on their ass!

Episode 70

Oh man… was I holding my breath as she crossed all those treacherous log bridges! Sheeeeesh!! All that and Elephant Havens was CLOSED… dang!

She finally did get her boat ride on the river. WHEW

You and me both! I’m glad she walked the bike across. I was hoping she could have walked beside it in gear….the view is different in the cheap seats than actually being there.

Another “Oh man…!” episode!! Interesting “Premiere” format with live chat at the 9am CDT showing this morning. Something new in YouTube?

When I got the advance notification on Sunday I saw the mention of an “island”… what?… an island in landlocked, desert Botswana? Google maps showed me all about Kubu Island. Very cool place. Love the Baobab trees.

I managed to attend her first live chat a few weeks back, and she was patient in answering many questions, where some like me would go, "Really?"
It was funny when she told us, "Hmmm. Many are asking how I use the bathroom and bathe, while riding in the desert. I'm not going into that. I'm just not."

I just watched Noraly trying Mopane worms. I can't say that I would have tried them myself (but I'd like to think I might have), but her adventurous spirit is pretty apparent in that she was willing to at least try. I really admire that spirit. (spoiler alert... she didn't like them)

She ate tripe at the roadside food spot in a recent episode; and liked it! o_O Remember the rotten fish in a can “delicacy” she ate while camping in Scandinavia? She’s a ‘gamer’ for sure. :p

Indeed I do! She soldiered on but there was no hiding the fact that she was not a fan. I do like that she orders food she's never eaten and luckily most of the time that works out well.
Me: is there a McDonald's or Wendy's around here? :rofl1: She's made of sterner stuff than I.

I watch dear Noraly traveling to places and doing things I will never do, and I'm grateful for her you tubes... But, ...she's not the only adventure rider. ...I've just finished a year's worth of travel with Rosalyn Veersma in her own country - Australia. Very sweary at times, but she wears her heart on her sleeve and I admit to binge watching when I could! It was marvellous stuff!
...Watch out because you tube doesn't always present the episode numbers in the right order....
