Itchy Boots

Wow that was great. The drone footage is awesome. The view of her along the canyon from Angels 10 (LOL) or whatever really puts the size of the canyon in perspective. A little footage actually over the canyon would have been nice. But IIH - in her boots I would've been paranoid about the battery suddenly quitting while over the canyon and Good-Bye li'l Mavic!

I like the shot near the end of the video over her shoulder with the dust being kicked up. The music is always a nice touch.

I wish we could get a better idea of the inclines and declines she faces. Anyway another really great video.

I would like to know who, if anyone, is helping her with her marketing plan and efforts to that aim.
I like the way she is going about this, by enabling monetization (it seems) to mitigate her living costs, without being "in your face" and thereby alienating (pi$$ing off!) her core followers. This is a very delicate line to tiptoe on, between being a prohibitively expensive lifestyle, versus earning money to continue living and traveling without being pressured to always having to be in selling mode.
As a professional marketer, I would like to know how far along she is, in terms of her online persona actually sustaining her, financially. I know we are ALL wishing that for her, as she truly sets herself apart from the majority of moto-vloggers.
Clever girl.

One thing for sure, she’s no slouch! That sure is a lot of work to maintain, the blog, 360 videos and academy. Plus riding and video editing, social media, three videos per week!
There are apps for social media that allow you to do one post over a series of platforms. I’m wondering if her blog has plugins to do the 360, and academy. Even so that’s a lot to do for one individual.
I concur @Sadlsor

Our agency uses a LOT of tools that automate many of our tasks, which enables a handful of us to accomplish the work of many more.
I'm quite sure she is not using many such tools, as they are an ongoing cost to our business, and are not inexpensive.

She does have someone helping her with the other aspects of her enterprise. I think she even mentioned the person's first name but that's all I think I remember.

One of the things that struck me while viewing this latest video is how many miles/kilometers she's put on the stock seats of her bikes and has yet to complain about them specifically – only that she's sometimes "shattered" at the end of a long day.

There won't be any new videos for the next week! :( I have been super busy with launching my new website (If you haven't seen it yet - I invite you to come and have a look! It was a year of work to make it, with a lot of sweat and tears haha! You find it at www.itchyboots.com), and so I couldn't ride and film while working on the launch. Until new videos come on the channel - you can watch my latest video now. It's a bit of a creepy video, as I am exploring an abandoned diamond mining town in Namibia, but I thought I shouldn't miss this place after all the diamond adventures in South Africa!! I hope you'll enjoy :) Safe riding and speak soon! Lots of love, Noraly

Thanks. I missed that.

A lot more slabbin' than she'd done in a long time. When she chose the Honda she said it was because there would be a lot more paved road in the upcoming travels and she needed a bike that had more speed.

The drone footage was amazing. Some of that which included her really showed the vastness of where she was. The footage with the drone closer to the deck than usual was really good.

Me – I doubt I would have hiked nearly as much as she did. I probably would have sent Scout the noble wonder drone on ahead for a bit then called it a day. Pretty incredible to see her covers ground where she's the only one around I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles oh yeah! No AAA or equiv. where she goes.

She already spends a lot of time with video post production but if she could produce some footage for the Oculus Quest that would be so freakin' amazing! Especially from the drone! But yeah she's got enough on her plate.

<GASP> Today’s drone footage was amazing!!!

Two thoughts came to mind throughout today’s vlog:

- Our dear Ms Schoenmaker is very, very ALONE in the vastness…

- While the scenery is spectacular, it’s all pastel shades of cream, tan, rust and the full spectrum of brown. What did Buzz Aldrin say…?.. “magnificent desolation!” What do those large quadrupeds find to sustain themselves in that bleak vastness?

My thoughts.

John

It certainly was.
It’s also is her birthday, that’s what she said on her posting early this morning.
She does relish being alone with no one around her, and that’s certainly what she captures in her videos.
Keen observations John.
