Where did you ride today?

260ish miles through the Yorkshire Dales, Northern Lake District, and Durham Dales. Stopped for a coffee in Middleton in Teesdale where I had a chat with four police motorcyclists that were touring motorcycling hot spots just to pass out smiles and remind folks on two wheels to behave themselves. Nice guy's, who were properly into motorcycles. Must be a great job when the weather is good and they aren't picking up the pieces resulting from accidents and chasing maniacs. I must get a new camera, could have taken some fantastic pics today.

I went to Kincardine via Brussels and the Bruce Nuclear plant, wonderful day for a ride, nice fall day 17C

I jumped on the 2012 this morning and did 74 miles ride. :hat3:

Since March 11, I have only been able to put on 713 miles! The weather will hopefully cool down a bit in the next month!

Both James (jtvisions) and I were feeling a bit stir-crazy from being locked down because of the fire smoke in the area being so unhealthy. Plus, we're watching as the days went by as the weather is getting cooler and wetter...knowing that the change means the riding season is slipping away. So we both wanted to go to Artist Point to see the change in colours and see it before the first snows come.
So we headed north up Hwy 9.

This valley is just so pretty. I love the view and never get tired of it each time I pass this way. I think one of the cool things about it, is it gives you a glimpse of where you're headed.

James with Mt. Baker in the background. As James pointed out, the cloud to the right of Mt. Baker's peak is being formed by the peak itself. The wind is coming from the south (left) and going over the glaciers, cooling and forming the cloud.

I see so many motorcyclists and bicyclists come up here, circle the parking lot ...and ride off thinking they saw all there was in less than five minutes.

A memento I found when I parked the bike. I wonder how many miles that leaf stayed on.

The fall colours were starting, but not that bright quite yet. So this means James and I will have to go see it all again. :)

Yesterday I rode 260 miles from Newlyn to Portsmouth to catch the Brittany ferry to Caen. Today I rode from Caen down to St Barthelemy where I am staying for a few weeks, about 70 miles. First time I have been abroad on the Pan and it has surpassed all expectations.

I rode to the BMV today to transfer the title. They inspected the bike to verify the VIN. Took 2+ hours waiting in line. Plus I have to go back in a week to get the title and plates!
But I have a temp plate on it!

Just a 25 mile round trip between showers to the nearest town to do some food shopping at LeClerc's supermarche. Very wet and windy but who cares, I am in France! Off to see Madame Gondree at Pegasus Bridge cafe later in the week to take her some Cornish Fairings (ginger biscuits).

:worthless:
So there Ecca, consider yourself told.
I'm only envious, good on ya for pressing on regardless.
Enjoy friend.

Look like a good area to ride a bit. I google map walked around a bit. I'm surprised google map even went inside of building!! No privacy there.

From Columbus to Belleville to meet at Der Dutchman for the RTE event! Uncle Phil gave me a hug to welcome me to the ST family! Wonderful ride there and back on two lane country roads.

Belleville illinois to Bloomington illinois. Road trip to visit friends and other motorcycle club members. About 340 miles round trip. The weather was great and i rode with a bunch of Harleys but my ST1100 held its own. A really good outing if i must say so.
