Where did you ride today?

Church was closed out of caution today. But we still had a graduation ceremony for 6 men from Damascus House.

Damascus House is a Bible based drug and alcohol recovery house. The men spend six months there.

So I still had a good ride to church and then I took some back roads out to visit the in-laws.

218 miles of windy slab shake-down following new tires, brake shoes, all fluids changed, valve check, etc. Bike running great.

First ride of more that 90 minutes in several months, and very windy, so body now pointing out how: posture could have been better, use a lighter touch on the grips, relax!, butt calluses have gone soft, etc.

Bike is well tuned up, just need to get some longer distances in so the rider is too. :)

I got out on Sunday for only my third ride on the 1300. Headed for Wicklow about 100 miles. Went to do a point on our photo rally.
It was cold and quite a bit of traffic up in wicklow but the fairing and the heated grips had me snug as a bug.20200315_134736.jpg

Since I was sent home last Thursday, to work from home, I finally got the :bl13: out and rode it over to the Post Office to send off a part to Canada.

A whole 16 miles! :hat3:

But I needed to get home before the next rain hits soon!

And with in 30 minutes after getting back, it is coming down pretty good! :thumb:

FINALLY got out for ride today. First time in a week. I did get out last week but didn't make note of that time which was a very quick/short run to Lowe's and one other store for some essential supplies. Today was the first for a while to just go out and ride for fun. Ended up just over 60 miles and "rediscovered" a few roads I haven't been on for a few years. Temps were right at 48F the entire time until the very end when they dropped to 47F per the ambient temp sensor. There was solid clouds and no sun shining through and I even saw a few drops of rain on my visor at one time. I could count them on one hand (the left hand since the right hand was busy at the time). This matched my thermometer in the house. The roads I usually take don't have much if any traffic until I get closer to the metro and today the traffic was no less than normal. I guess I was expecting slightly less but it wasn't. Was very good to get out. Needed to stop for gas so handled the nozzle with a gloved hand. Gas was down to $1.659. Kept a definite 6 ft distance from everyone during the entire ride.

Love the red.

I rode to work today. I finally have a chance to catch Suprasabre as I am still considered essential personnel

I'm still alive (cough cough). I rode a bit and had a look at Pensacola Bay. Rode on down south a bit and watched the Blue Angels do a little practice show flying. First practice in Pensacola since their return from the winter base in El Centro.

My old Navy stomping ground. Had my first and second motorcycle there! Love that area. Need to go back some day and visit. Ride safe my friend!
