Where did you ride today?

Do you not do this in your part of the world? Just googled Aurora Colorado and I would wager you get the weather for it.
My wife is from Ruhpolding, near Traunstein, She can make me Glühwein, but it is not the same as drinking it and being at a real Bavarian Kris Kindle Markt.

Yesterday, Sat 14 Dec 2024. Santas On A Bike... Midlands, England Run. 165 Bikes to raise money for a childrens hospice. There have been many others throughout England this weekend.

Pictures of us riding through Broadway in the Cotswolds en-route to the hospice and with the Grinch and Elf who were just in front of us in the convoy! Also, in my opinion, the best bike in the convoy, a mobile fir tree :D

A great day out, raised lots of smiles along the route :)

It was 75f here today so I had to get the bike out and let it breathe a bit. I rode up over north of Pace to the helicopter training area, Navy Outlying Field Site-X (secret site) and on north to Jay and then non-directly home.

I think Taco Tuesday is just around the clock soon. Right @ardykay54 Russ? Where shall we go tomorrow?

I rode up into ALABAMA!! Just so Phil could hug me twice today. Nice seeing you today UP. @Uncle Phil

I know those that like the ice cold breeze in the winter don't want to hear this but the 81f I had today seemed pretty nice to me! The 442 mile ride was a win too. Low of 50 high of 81, ALABAMA was nice.

Took a ride around Santa Barbara County today on this fantastic fall day. 100 miles with temps from 75 at home to 83 in the Santa Ynez Valley and 76 where I took this picture.

Beautiful. My problem is when I'm riding I just want to keep riding and so don't tend to stop and take pictures. Plus I don't have gloves that are made to operate a touch screen on the phone. I would really like some that allow that.

We have unusual warm weather for December, and since I'm between projects (besides, needing to give my left knee a break from being on it so much) I decided to take both bikes out for a little jaunt around the area.

I took the 2004 :bl13: out first and rode 52 miles.

After lunch I took the 2012 :dr13: out and did 53 miles.

Although both routes covered most of the same areas, I managed to do one more mile with the 2012, than the 2004. :unsure-2x:

I rode to a ST 1300 mechanic's home workshop where he took a quick look at the bike & decided oil changing and other fluid maintenance were the least of my worries. Repairing crash damage and broken and loose parts (not just Tupperware but frame parts & structural components ) from a prior owners' accident was top the priority.
Emergency surgery was called for.

Good for you! :hat3:

I have bought three, that I restored to riding condition. I've got a couple in my back shed right now. But since I have two good running ST1300s already, I'm not sure if I'll get to them anytime soon.

Headed out today for a Pre Christmas ride, I rode through Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, San Luis Obispo County's putting in 360 miles with temps from 55 to 70.
I am just about to head out to take my trusty Honda snowblower for a whirl. It is currently 18°F with a windchill of 9°F and there is an abundance of white anti-motorcycle powder everywhere that needs to be moved. I won't take any pictures for you.

Love this phrase.

are heard
I'm going to try and use it, with proper referencing, of course!

Rob
Trust me when I state that there are many other more colourful expletives that are heard in place of powder, especially as the winter progresses.
None of them would survive the delete function here however, so you will just have to use your imagination.

Have you ever had such a cold ride that your nipples freeze solid and start to chaff against your clothes?
-10 this morning but beautiful sunshine so it was kick the tires and light the fires. Took a while to get them lit but we got there in the end and went for a ride around the lake coming back just before sundown.
