What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Installed heated gear pigtail on the V-Rod, getting it ready for 30 degrees tomorrow morning.

I'm a fan of flashers as well and did some a month or so back.
Is this you?

Another commute! Less than 4 years of it, left to do before retirement!

Not that I am counting or anything, but today marks 15 months exactly until my planned get-out date. Tomorrow will be 65 weeks exactly, or 455 calendar days. I am also estimating fewer than 300 working days remain.

C'mon, 4.2.2021!

I'm sure you'll need tires sooner than that.

I have two sets sitting at home now. Those might last me through this year!

If I can (if I can stand it or don't get laid off first) continuing working until 12.31.2023, I'll be better financially off and make retirement a little easier to handle. But you never know what tomorrow will bring...so, we'll just have to see, but that date: 12.31.2023, is my drop work date! ;)

...and some of us have at least another decade and a half to go. :)

Don't feel bad, I already did that decade and a few others...Come October, I will be in the computer for 50 years, and still working! :puk1:

I decided to retire just before Christmas. I have been disabled due to a trapped sciatic nerve since 1989, retrained and enjoyed working with young people as a Careers Officer, then 20 years working with people with mental health issues during which I met and helped lots of nice people and a few not so nice. I have had 2 strokes, been diagnosed with emphysema (COPD), had my gall bladder out and an ankle busted, plated and screwed together and my wife has left me, so I reckon I now deserve a gap decade! Have some fixing up and gardening to do at home, then lots of home and continental touring to look forwards to later this year, plus another ST1100 to sort out! Bring on the 2020s....! You never know what's round the corner!!

Sounds like you deserve a pretty good 20's our Ecca. I think I'll stop sweating the small stuff.
Upt'North.

I have two kids in private college. No retirement for me except a box or rapture. (Hoping for the latter)

When the big bucks job evaporates (when, not if), then it will be something with health benefits and something without alot of driving. Hopefully something not boring. I like using the grizzle between the ears.

Did the valves, bled all the brakes, replaced headlights with F2s, adjust balancers, cleaned up some electrical ,changed oil and looks like a wax valve is in the future.
