What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

AV8R, is that a HUD type display of your speed? Pretty cool, where do we get that!?

Rode to work and home; high 30s departing both locations, down to below freezing arriving both locations. Plan to do it again tomorrow as long as it's still dry. [which it was, mid 30s both ways]
Same question here, very cool! @AV8R any leads? :)

Painted ONE side case........tried to hurry-up the second one, only to have the plasti-dip run and then the can started to sputter and spat blobs. So, I will have to let it dry, peel it off and try again.....tomorrow.

I just gave the 2012 a good wash! It rained on me, REALLY HARD, for about 35 miles!

I was one soaked rider by the time I got home! Obviously, that rain gear I had on was useless!:censored:

Here is my video of part of my: Commute in the rain

Pulled the spark plugs to find out what I'm running. Found the wrong plugs were installed so those are on order. Getting ready to change the final drive oil.

Removed air filter housing and found two 5 way vacuum tees. Clear as mud. Quick call, thanks Larry, fired right up after pulling the vacuum lines between the throttle bodies and the tee which is connected to the MAP sensor.

Cracked the throttle and set the butterflies of each fuel injector open about an eight of an inch. Set the cruise control to hold partial open throttle.

Got 4 different static measurements using a drill bit to compare the opening distance of the butterfly and throttle body way.

Expect to see some variations in the vac gauges when checking the sync tomorrow.20191121_160414.jpg20191121_160355.jpg

The throttle body sync was easier than suspected. Discovered the intake valves can be seen, and fugly they were, so did a SeaFoam treatment. Nice shiney new looking intake valves again. Whistle clean. Just look down the throttle body with WOT!20191123_104459.jpg20191123_111757.jpg

Bit the bullet, ordered the Road 5GTs from Revzilla. This wasn't part of the plan, a price increase same week as Black Friday sales. It's called a tariff. Michelin, your timing sucks.

Once again, thanks to the forum and its members. :usflag1: :run1::thumb:

New to me 2012, done over the last few days:

1) left and front tupperware off
2) installed Photon Blasters in front
3) replaced stock headlights with LEDs
4) hardwired the Garmin into the quartet harness
5) wired a Powerlet outlet from the quartet harness in place behind the left glovebox
6) replaced the stock horn with a FIAMM low-note
7) reinstalled the instrument panel after Bluegauges replaced the LEDs
8) reassembled everything, only to find that
9) somehow I lost the headlight knob- no flippin' idea where!
10) rode it for an hour at 32F just to make sure everything works and is tight.

I have to say that the posts in this forum were invaluable- there's no way I could have done this with just the Haynes manual. Many thanks to all you who have posted helpful stuff over the years!

Serviced the preload adjuster with fresh oil.

Pulled the radiator, started tightening hose clamps. Behold, the famous floating thermostat housing.

The new rubber arrived.

Finished fork seals and brake pads. Also you guys showed me I could use floor jack for maintenance!

Got my Honda ST very dirty today as I tried to beat the rain, the rain won and the bike is a mess after 120 miles.

I rode 497 miles for a hamburger yesterday. No maintenance at all, just a long day of riding.

From home to Georgetown, SC and back.
