What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

I feel your pain, this spring sold two of my restored bikes. Silvy and Babe both with 650 v twins cx engines . It is alot nicer to sell to a friend cause you get to ride with them. Reason why hurts the most though.

Pulled the rear wheel qoff the ST1300, levered the tire off and am currently waiting for my new set of tires and moly paste to arrive. This is my first tire change, so the wheel will need a little TLC from previous tire changes that were a little careless. .

Did you make Larry agree to send pictures of it, on birthdays and holidays?
I did tell him I'd appreciate a note or pic of the fun places they've gone. And while I no longer have an ST, I expect to visit ST-owners from time to time. Maybe I'll catch a glimpse of her in the "Where Did You Ride Today" sub-forum.

Sadly watched my ST13 go to its new home with @Larry Fine. It was a pleasure meeting Larry and his friend Alan, and I feel good knowing that someone will ride and take care of it.

It was a long voyage, but I made it home. I stopped for a few pics before it got too dark.

I will post them and take some more as soon as I go outside and grab a Lightning cable.

Please hang around. I'm still an active participant on the Nighthawk forum.

Actually last week I did this:

Monday: left Chatham (Ontario Canada) for Peterborough, met up with friends along the way and 7 of us rode all week.
Tuesday: left Peterborough for Carleton Place. Stopped at Wheelers Maple Products for afternoon breakfast after riding Matawachan Road and Centennial Lake Road, then the 508 and 511.
Wednesday: left Carleton Place for Barry's Bay. Stopped for lunch in Wilno, at the Wilno Tavern, who knew they were closed Wednesdays (GRRR). Oh, and the lone laced-wheeled Indian in our group got a flat tire as we rolled into the lot (in the rain). Great guys at Kam-Keg Marine and Service in Barry's Bay went out of their way to pick up the bike with their trailer and back to the shop. They loaded and unloaded it at both ends. Fixed the tire that night on O/T or in the morning, and he picked it up at 09:30 Thursday and we were back on the road as a group. Tire tube patched and good to go. Oh, and it cost a whole $100. Amazing.
Thursday: left Barry's Bay for Peterborough again. Through Algonquin Park. Stopped in Dorest to have lunch at the Trading Bay Dining Company and got shut out again. Not open. I'm batting .333 for stops for good food.
Friday: left Peterborough and slabbed it home ASAP, we were all tired by then. A great week.

Replaced front tire, checked brake pads, flushed clutch fluid for the second time this year.

All went well, pushed the bike out front in the driveway to go for a ride and I had forgotten that I put the side stand up when flushing the clutch and the bike wanted to take a nap in the driveway. Picked it up with no problem!!

The previous thread was deleted due to performance issues.

So, we'll start this one again.
I really didn't do much with my 1994 ST1100 other than last Wednesday I left from Central Wisconsin and stopped at my Mom's in Cheney Washington that Thursday afternoon (1684 miles). Every time I take to the road and make runs like this I am extremely impressed how side these bikes are of course they are a Honda.

This coming Monday I will start meandering and camping on my return back to Wiscon
