What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

DETAILS! Is that pic flipped or upside down? I flipped it on my display 'cause the perspective was weirding me out man!

Maybe this zoom in shot catches it better

Pics dont do it justice as the darkness allowed the magenta and purples to show up

Yeah, that's the same storm I ran into down in Escondido! I watched the radar trail, it came straight down the I15 from Temecula! :eek:

After riding over 6,000 miles with a Corbin Dual Canyon seat I got from the PO, a beautiful seat that just didn't fit me well, I downgraded a couple of weeks ago back to the stock seat. THEN, I upgraded to a Russell Day-Long Saddle that arrived today from RockyHayes!!! I also bought his Rackman Highway Wings and his MCL Fork Brace! I hope Rocky enjoys his BMW! If anyone has the instructions on installing the MCL Fork Brace, I'd appreciate the guidance. From what I've found so far, there seems to be some varying opinions on the fork axle pinch bolts and the fork brace tightening sequence. Thanks!

Here are the written instructions for the SuperBrace that Joe linked to for you earlier today if you want them. I can't see that the install instructions between the two could be very different.
Thanks Andrew. I was just receiving a few different versions of how some were "saying" to do it, but with some of the concerns I read about on other threads, nothing that actually showed the original install directions from either MCL or Super Brace. Even these written ones you shared mention the axle nut and I assume both sets of pinch bolts whereas the video only mentions the right side pinch bolts. Just trying to get it as right as possible, so I appreciate you linking them for me! ATA also shared the same ones with me last night on the FB group. You guys are all awesome and what a great resource we have in this owners group! :D

@SupraSabre

I noticed on you’re signature ride coverage pic that you’ve seen the western half of the states. Which one are you most inclined to emigrate to? (When it’s time to pull up stakes here in the once golden state that is)

We've bought a 1/2 acre in Cedar City Utah. I hope to be living there in about 5 years.

Which half? :). When ever we would drive by Cedar City my dad would yell out “hey kids, can you See Dar city? Standard reply became “no dad, we are blind remember?”
Good for you Bob

Cedar City was never on my radar until a few years ago. One of Chris's Uncles owned some land in Enoch, a few miles north, but he wanted too much for it. That got us looking in the area, and then last May we bought the property, since we weren't ready to buy a home there, but could see prices increasing, so we bought the property. What's cool about it is that the utilities are all there. We just have to build the house, and connect up! :thumb:

Since you’ll be moving I thought I’d help you out and relieve the temptation for you to buy more saddlebags to move. You’re a bad influence

So it was you that picked those up? Good price! :cool:

Funny thing, most don't look at parts until they need them. Since they don't watch things, most have no idea when they see a good item for a good price! :rolleyes:

Yes, hard to find a set in good shape let alone for a decent price. Going on the P bike so if they do have a few scratches, it won’t matter
