What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Is that an 1100 or 1300, and why is there a clutch lever and MC on it?
It's a 1300.
Clutch lever to operate the clutch (it's working, you can see the plates move)
What is "MC"?
The engine can turn, you can see all the parts move.

Visited the worldfamous motorcycle fair in Utrecht (NL).
While I was there, was thinking about my ST-friends in the US (1st photo)
And saw a beautiful look-through-engine (2nd photo)

That's real nice. Thanks for posting the pic.

I was going to change the brushes in the alternator today. Got started, pulled the tank out, and decided the swingarm would have to come out also. Not in the mood to do that again just yet, as the alt is charging at 13.5 - 14.3 volts. So I just cleaned up some areas, and some wiring and just put the tank back in.

Then moved on to the next project for the day. I ordered some of the rubber mounting washers or grommets for the cam covers. Cleaned up the covers and added some sealant like Hondabond to the half moon areas of the cam cover gasket.

Put it all back together and as soon as the weather gets better here in Indiana, I'm going riding!!

Gertjan, thanks for the piccie.
I see braces are still de rigueur in Holland. Very sensible.

Anyone know where the ECU is located on '07 ST? I'm looking to install a gear position indicator from HealTech. Need to find the ECU for the connections. Looking for a three pin connector and a yellow wire with green stripe. What do I need to remove to get to it?
Thanks for the help!
Alan

Under the pillion seat all the way to the rear of that compartment. Your owners manual and tool kit may be back there. Just changed mine.

Easy find! Thanks! Found the yellow/green wire to tap into. Now need to locate the speed sensor coupling. ?

Is the speed sensor connector (that three pin connector I'm looking for) behind the left side of the faring on top of the gearbox? Guess I'll have to take that left side faring off?
