What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

I wanted a gear indicator for my ST1300 and decided to try one off of amazon, it was £46, advertised for all fuel injected Honda's but the ST wasn't listed.
Went for it anyway and fitted it today, only 1 plug to connect, did the reset procedure as per the (1 A5 sheet) instructions, with the bike on the centre stand, ran it through the gears and it was done, tried it out on a short trip to my sisters and it works perfectly.
The only "problem" is the wire is not really long enough, it does reach but could have done with a bit more slack.
Only stuck it to the dash at the moment but I intend to put it inside the instrument cluster.

How about sharing a link to the product.

Got my st1100 from the workshop today. Solved a few issues with one shot.
ABS. Replaced rear abs modulator with refurbished one. No more errors for now.
Engine noise on idling. Synced carbs and welded cracked exhaust pipes shields. No more buzzing and knocking noise from the gearbox anymore. What a relief )
Replaced oil, gears go up and down smoothly.
Additionally connected seat heaters ( I installed them month ago by myself when decided to adjust seat shape to make it more comfortable). Hope my rear end will be happy in cold days)

Dropped my bike. Again. On the right side. Fourth time since I bought my ST. Decided to put it on the center stand in the acquaintance's garage, right on the lid of cellar. Didn't know that this lid was made of plasterboard and centerstand just slumped into it and I didn't have enough force to keep bike upright. No scratches though, but I broke windscreen lip. Now I understand that the 20-inch National Cycle windshield is definitely not enough tall for me, it is noisy and buffeting on the speeds over 100 km/h without the lip.

I pulled my new battery from my ST1300 so whenever I decide to buy a new alternator and dig into that project it will be fully charged and ready to go

I've decided to park the 95 ST1100 for a while next to the old reliable BMW K100RS and Goldwing. It's been a great bike and I loved bringing it back to life after the last owner sold it to me all disassembled in five totes slab full of parts. I purchased a 2019 Triumph Scrambler and figure I will spend the next year or two enjoying riding with my son on his KLR 650 throughout Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico.

That's a plan worth executing!

Did you get them to turn, trying to come up with an idea to get them to turn. Thinking of an expandable rubber plug to grip the bore so I can see if they turn.
Yes sir I did. I used a bolt and a nut along with brake parts cleaner and pb blaster/brake cleaner on a couple of stubborn ones. I can’t get any of them to turn with just my fingers but they turn easily with the bolt/nut combo attached using very little force on my ratchet.
I’ll tackle them again at some point, they looked like they had never been touched.
